It has been excellent staying at Lagoon Chalets — everything has been comfortable and enjoyable. One suggestion for improvement would be to offer a full-service laundry option, where guests can hand in their clothes to be washed and returned. Although there is a self-service laundry on-site, this additional service would be more convenient, especially on public holidays when the local laundry services aren’t available.

A nice place to spend the night. We spent the night in a three bedroom double story chalet. The chalets are connected with each other by a walk so you might hear some noise from the neighbours. This is not really bothersome. Check-in was easy and quick. The staff was friendly and helpful even allowing us to leave our trailer there before check-in time actually opened. Will definitely recommend.

• The given room was in a construction and rehabilitation area, which hindered the rest we wanted to have during this stay. • It will be important to read the specifications of each reservation and customer. We are a couple and we have been given room for single. With that a couple was separated by chalet’s initiative. • We understand that hotels should be better equipped for holidays and festive seasons, as more customers circulate. It was strange to stay 3 days with staff shortage due to a holiday and long weekend of our staying.

Friendly staff and extremely helpfull. Staff even assisted with finding repair shops for vehicles. Accomodation clean and spacious with lots of utensils.

Located in a very nice and quiet area of Walvis Bay. The chalet was clean and had everything we needed for self-catering. The beds were very comfy, and the bathroom was much larger than expected. With the seating and BBQ facility on the veranda, we could enjoy being outside too. There is a small bistro where you can have meals / take-aways. Delicious pizzas!

I was honestly a little disappointed with our stay here. It was supposed to be an upgrade from roof-tent camping for a night, but it wasn't that great. The lady in reception was nice and friendly, but when we got to our accommodation (we had 2 x small chalets for 2 x couples), our friend's one absolutely stank of smoke. In fairness they did then give them a replacement/ upgrade, but we were then far apart which wasn't ideal. Our chalet was kind of damp, dingey and unappealing. The bathroom looked very basic and a little bit grubby, and the only soap was in the shower. Nothing was provided and it wouldn't have been somewhere I'd have enjoyed spending any time. The worst thing was the sofa, which was covered in plastic wrap, so we were put off even sitting on that! I'm afraid I can't recommend - it needs some attention.
