Meriwether Country Inn

Dirty room with non functioning main light. Sofa can break your tailbone if you are not carefull and sit down expecting support. After complaining about filthy floor and light, bad evening surprise for nothing was done. I cleaned room myself and delivered two towels to reception to show how 'clean' it was. They offered me another room but I didn't feel like cleaning more floors.

Our family stayed here to attend a wedding in Warm Springs. Location was very convenient to the wedding venue and downtown. Great location and value. Rooms and staff were also great. Would definitely stay here again.

Not a bad little stay for the night, it's a little motel with all the basic necessities. Not sure why the lobby is closed 100% of the time and you have to interact through a side window, but whatever it is it is. We felt safe, the shower was nice, and the bed is very firm. As I mentioned, it's not a bad little motel for a night - but I would surely not want to spend several days there.

Room was cleanish and bed was comfortable enough to sleep. These are the only good things I can say. Upon check in we were given an incorrect room number and upon going back, were told that was not the number provided and we heard wrong. Only 1 outlet near the bed, which was difficult to get to. Bed linens and curtains are disgraceful, they are worn, curtains have holes, small but still holes, have some respect for your guests paying to stay there! The shower curtain has mold around the magnets and the bathe towels are barely larger than a hand towel. Walls are scratched up and in poor shape, they have painted some walls freshly, but you can’t put lipstick on a pig and make it better. Not a lot availability in the area on New Years Eve so we did stay. But upon arriving back the stairwell to our room and the next 3 parking spaces were blocked by a moving van and car carrier. When I called to complain her response was that they were moving and would be leaving early in the morning. This is far from the worst inn I have seen, but I will not be back and would recommend anyone coming to this charming and historic town to steer clear of this place!

Well, there weren't many choices in Warm Springs so we gave a local establishment a try - I would not stay there again. Breakfast was to be included but the lobby was closed so we had to drive to McDonald's in Manchester, the wall-mounted hair dryer was on a shelf in the bedroom and I had to go ask for toilet paper - there wasn't even enough for one night. On top of that, our neighbors were a little suspect.
