Hampton Inn by Hilton Warroad

not bad, standard Hampton Inn offering, the restaurant/bar was pretty good. If I were to complain, I'd said that the shower was a bit slick, especially with soap and shampoo in the water, and then the water faucet in the bathroom is designed and mounted in such a way that my hands hit the sink side when washing them. The faucet needs to project more into the center of the sink.

We stayed here 2 nights. The man at check in was great. He was friendly and full of helpful info. The digital key wasn’t working. The pool area and fitness room was better than most. The bar was nice and food was ok. The first morning we woke to the fire alarm going off. No info on what was going on was given. The lady at the front desk didn’t even make eye contact so we went outside and waited for the fire department to get there which took a while. The room was clean and comfortable. The same lady was at the front desk when we checked out. She was digging in her purse. When she finally looked up and saw us she didn’t say anything. Just looked at us. I told her we were checking out. She asked for my name. Looked it up. Asked if I wanted a copy. Then went back to her purse. I hope they get the digital check in and out up and running so the lady can find whatever she was looking for in her purse.

Spent 2 nights when in the area fishing lake of the woods. Warroad has been in need for some new accommodations for years and this was a pleasant surprise when looking for a place to stay. The place is nice and new and the staff takes pride in that. They have a a nice bar and lower patio area as well as a rooftop patio. No complaints, the place is by far the best in town. Keep up the good work!

This was an exceptionally nice hotel. Stayed with my wife and two cats, room was spacious,very clean, and nice bed and sheets! 5 stars for all of that and letting us know our cats were allowed to stay. Not many hotels do this, and frankly...if they allow dogs, cats should be a go as well! Warroad is a beautiful small town, and we love hockey. They have a small rink for the kids to play in, a good gym and restaurant. The art , even celebrates Warroad's great hockey history in some places. HOCKEY, best game in the world.
