The check-in process was smooth and straightforward, which we appreciated. The property has a cozy feel, and we understand it's a family-run business, which often means limited on-site staffing. However, several aspects of our stay were disappointing. The room was not properly cleaned upon arrival, and there was no housekeeping service during our 3-day stay. We requested cleaning and trash removal after day two, but no one came. As the temperature dropped in the evenings, we discovered that the central heating had been turned off. Despite requesting a space heater, none was provided, which made the nights uncomfortable. Another major concern was the lack of support—there was no staff on-site, the provided phone numbers were unreachable, and there was no reception desk to assist with even basic needs. While we appreciate the charm and intention behind a family-run property, some basic services and a reliable way to reach someone for help would make a significant difference. We hope these issues can be addressed, as it has the potential to be a much more pleasant stay in the future.

This place is amazing! My wife and I were on a budget and looking for a getaway for our anniversary, and this place nailed it! The bathrooms and bedrooms were average and a little quirky, which is to be expected for the age of the property. The bed was average. But the place was CLEAN and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful. And you can’t beat the location. Also, the homemade ice cream was soooo good! Definitely recommending to friends and family.

This is a cheap 2 star motel at most. Bed is comfortable and clean but that’s it. No staff here most of the time. Even the coffee machine didn’t work in the morning and no one here to help.
