Travelodge by Wyndham Waukegan Gurnee

I was extremely disappointed with the staff in general she's a b word completely told me to cancel my reservation because there website says pets are welcome when absolutely not I was told no dogs and I said a cat she said that I need to cancel because it be 200 deposit then 20 a day for animal I was on my way there and had to figure out a new place to stay at last minute. Thank you to American inn off Sheridan Beach park welcoming me and my pets with a 80$ cheaper rate for 2 rooms for total 9 days and they charged me nothing for my pets so if u need a real hotel that cares and is not a b word go to American inn not the disgraceful false advertising of the Travelodge off Lewis ave they lost total of 900 $ due to the lie of pets welcome and why is there a 20 cash deposit per day *** is that they obviously are shady over this because I've read other reviews about customers stated they needed it even for a non smoking room first time I've hear you need to pay not to be around smoke so thanks for nothing you guys are unbelievable telling me to cancel before even saying it's a 200 deposit then 20 a day please listen and believe me when I say DONT GET A ROOM there ull be the one on here next warning people....unbelievable I couldn't even arrive before the rude person that took my call told me to cancel then they expect me to pay 94$ for cancel a hour before what a joke this place is anything to make money and not even doing anything for a customer il NEVER BOOK A ROOM THERE !!!

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The staff was very courteous while I needed my room changed because of some issues. The cost was very affordable and I think more could be done to lower the price when point is used as I am a Gold member.But overall, I enjoyed my 2 night stay at travelodge. Thank you.

The hotel was kept clean but there was a lingering smell of smoke in the lobby and throughout the halls. It was an old and newer smoke so even though there is no smoking its still allowed. We went out to lobby at 7:00 and there was no breakfast or coffee available. When I asked about coffee he said they had none like I was crazy to ask. The staff were not very friendly

The staff was extremely rude the hotel was full of garbage once getting to my room I had make up on pillow cigarette burns on the comforter make up on the pillows then there was semen on one of the comforters just a horrible experience for me and my son

The hotel was so dirty n no breakfast n no late check out they try n scam out 20 dollars for a deposit that has to be cash only they refuse to change room wen complained there is a horrible smell in the hallways blood on the walls stains on the sheets

Avoid at all cost. We were only staying overnight to visit the Bristol Ren Faire and the only good thing about this place is that it was 20min from the faire. Even with a non-smoking room it was disgusting and reeked. ero consistency in water temp, absolutely gross everywhere. I didn't even want to sleep here because it was so bad, but I needed to sleep somewhere and had already paid (twice). They canceled my non-refundable booking from ******* and charged me another 140 ot stay. What a joke. The shower had no drain cover, the towels were literally threadbare and the sheets and furniture were covered in cigarette burns.
