The Moon Glo Lake House is on the shores of Androscoggin Lake in Wayne, Maine. Wayne is a picturesque small town with a lovely downtown area with a bakery, ice cream shop, and general store all of which are within walking distance This lovely Maine lake house has three bedrooms and one bathroom. Upstairs boasts a sunny well-stocked kitchen and living room with a charming gas fireplace and two bedrooms (double and queen bed). And the best seat (for napping spot or reading a book) in the house, is a comfy window seat with an amazing view down the lake. A sunny wrap deck, outdoor dining space, and Weber grill set the stage for watching the sunsets and having late-night dinners. This lake house offers a second bright and airy living space downstairs with one bedroom (bunk beds and a double bed) with barn doors and a French door that provides easy access to the lake. This lake house has heat and ac, washer/dryer.The Moon-Glo has a private waterfront with docks and a swim area. Adirondack chairs are front and center and provide a spot to sit and listen to the waves lap the shore. Fish and swim right from your dock and enjoy the sites and sounds of lake life. Leaving from the house and going to any of a huge variety of places, and getting back again by the end of the day, is wicked easy and fun This 2+bed 2 bathroom chalet is situated on quite serene Wilson pond. The home is close to Augusta yet it’s a quaint small town and feels secluded.Sleeps 8 Comfortably (One queen, two full, one full futon, queen pull out sofa, and the couch converts to a king. The house has a beautifully outfitted kitchen: dishes/cookware, brand new gas range, new refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine with mesh filter and a blender to name a few Spectacular three season porch with cathedral ceilings and walls of windows that let the natural lights do nature in. You can sit for hours ...have your coffee and watch the birds!The Walls of windows make you feel outside and when the windows are open the breeze is amazing. The house in on a peninsula… Wilson pond on the property and Dexter on the other side of the street. They are spring fed ponds. In the summer you can swim in the sandy bottom pond, or enjoy a great fishing spot. 5 bodies of water connect to allow Wilson Pond to have multiple varieties of fish.Take out one of the property’s kayaks or canoe. Looking for more speed? Order the watercraft of your dreams from nearby Beacon boat rentals (speedboats, jet skis, etc.) and have it delivered to our private dock. Enjoy the outdoor fire pit year…complete with woodshed. There’s nothing like a crackling fire and listening to the loons singing. In the wintertime enjoy the cozy indoor propane fireplace, go skatingice fishing or bring your ATVs on the frozen pond.Head to skiing/snowboarding or tubing at one of the many ski resorts nearby. Lost valley is close. Find wonderful treasures in the many antique shops in the surrounding towns, or pick up some farm fresh fruit or chicken or duck eggs at the farm stands. (My favorite)15 minutes from Hannaford’s supermarket, and 0 minutes away from a relaxing, fun-filled vacation.The botanical gardens are a great day trip..you can hike through the woods looking at the trolls or leisurely stroll through Botanical gardens. It’s located in Boothbay. The one hour ride has tons of shops and restaurants on the way so give yourself time to get there. We have games galore at the house ...yard Yardzee poker sets /board games / corn hole to name a few.
