酒店離盧塞恩湖非常近，步行10分鐘可達，房間有個小陽台，可以看到盧塞恩湖。房間內空間雖然不是特別寬敞，洗浴間稍微寬敞一點，但是非常整潔乾淨！

We arrived at 17:20 to find reception closed and the building in which it was located locked up. This building also housed the bar and restaurant; also closed, despite being told that they were fully available seven days per week. Apparently all three are closed every Tuesday and Wednesday. This would be acceptable if we were booking a CHF 50 a night hostel, but this was a CHF 275 a night hotel. In all our years of travelling, were have never experienced this before. Then, after finding the key on an outside table, the room were were allocated was nothing like the rooms shown on the web site we booked through. The building was old, smelt of decay and was in serious need of renovation. The furniture was old, smelt and there was no AC. We might not have minded so much if we had been asked to pay a reasonable rate, but this was a premium rate room that was nowhere near premium. Although we originally intended to stay four days, we checked out immediately the next morning a found a far better hotel at a similar rate a kilometre away, right on Lake Lucerne. To be avoided . . .

Hotel Friedheim, where you go because you like Swiss precision, peace and quiet, ample parking space and cleanness. But you mainly go there for Mount Rigi, with its stunning views and walks and because it costs you the price of a decent mortgage to pay a hotel on the Mount itself. And honestly, the views from Hotel Friedheim on both the lake and the Mount are equally stunning, you even get to park you car AND swim in the Lake, for FREEEEEEE ! So at least we got the feeling Switzerland was expensive but without the need of being oil billionaire or equivalent.

Schade. Wir waren eine Runde mit vorbestellen Menü inklusive Getränke. Ob das der Grund war, dass man uns den Wein nicht automatisch angeboten hat und auch nicht nachgeschenkt hat? Sehr schade. Der Service war nicht gut. Man hat sich kaum um uns gekümmert und war nicht sehr freundlich. Kein freundliches Lächeln. Ein Kleinkind war dabei und ist noch vor dem Essen eingeschlafen. Trotzdem wurde sein Menü serviert und verrechnet… statt der Kinderportionen wurden normale Portionen serviert. Das Essen war aber wirklich sehr lecker.

Nicht empfehlenswert, wir waren zum Zmittag, überteuert, unterm Tisch sind noch grosse Kaffeeflecken vom Frühstück, Wein wird schludrig eingeschenkt und verschüttet. Der Preis fürs Essen passt nicht zum geleisteten Service der Bedienung, wobei die Qualität der Speisen gut ist, die Portionen sind nicht gross...

Mooie kamer, heel schoon en een prachtig uitzicht op het meer. Zeker een aanrader als je van rust houdt, en een beetje luxe 😃 de twee buitenste kamers van het nieuwe gedeelte hebben een eigen terras met ligbedden en tuinset. Het oude deel bestaat uit 20 kamers in Zwitserse stijl. Het bijbehorende restaurant serveert ontbijt, lunch en diner: absoluut een aanrader!

Meine Bewertung bezieht sich nur aufs Restaurant nicht aufs Hotel. Sehr netter Empfang und sehr nette, freundliche, kompetente Bedienung. Es gab einen Gruss aus der Küche. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Hausapero auch. Die Preise sind eher etwas hoch. Komme gerne wieder!

Wir besuchten das familiäre Hotel zum zweiten Mal. Jetzt im neuen Teil "Gade" zu Deutsch "Stall" wo auch das Restaurant mit zwei Bereichen im Erdgeschoss untergebracht ist. Nebenan wo das "alte" Friedheim war, und wir vor einem Jahr ein Zimmer gebucht hatten, sind die Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber dafür auch absolut preiswert. Wir haben uns in diesem Jahr für ein Zimmer im Gade entschieden. Auch da sind die Preise der modernen Zimmer immer noch sehr moderat. Das Essen unter der Leitung von Freddy Zimmermann ist ein Gedicht. Die Kreativität und Leidenschaft ist auf jedem Teller zu spüren, zu sehen und zu schmecken. Der Serviceangestellte ist humorvoll aber jederzeit kompetent und professionell. Alles im Auge hat stets Madeleine Zimmermann. Ihre tatkräftige Präsenz verleiht dem Hause das familiäre Flair. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Am Morgen mit einem derart reichhaltigen Frühstücksbuffet in den Tag zu starten ist wunderbar. Die traumhafte Aussicht über den Vierwaldstättersee kommt noch obendrauf.

Arrivés à l’hôtel une dame est arrivée nous a remis une enveloppe avec mon prénom et la clef à l’intérieur puis s’est réellement sauvée après nous avoir montré un bâtiment où se trouvait la chambre. Surprise : 2 e étage sans ascenseur privilégié pour des problèmes de genoux. Ensuite chambre sordide. 2 lits alors qu’on avait demandé un grand lit. Pas de wifi. Tv uniquement allemande. Douche trop petite en hauteur (1m80 mon mari mesure 1m85). Notre pire séjour en suisse et le plus cher. Une honte! Manque de respect du client!
