carathotel Basel/Weil am Rhein recensioner

Room was very clean and tidy …. Lidl and aldi are near by.. there are no restaurants nearby and less public transport station

good for leisure

Hotel room was a little dated but so very clean and the bed was very big and comfortable. It was perfect for what we needed. The breakfast was great also. Reception staff were so kind and helpful. We came to visit the Christmas markets in Basel. Taxis into Basel were quite expensive but we expected this but coming back in an uber saved some expense. Overall a clean and quiet hotel with lovely staff and quite close to airport. I would recommend to anyone intending to visit Basel.

It was on the French German border but hotel was too old and room amenities was from 1990s. Breakfast was not up to standard and would never recommend to stay again at a this property

teh area the hotel is located is not very nice. the hotel and the rooms are quite old. The beds are very good, I had a good sleep. The breakfast offering was delicious, food fresh and a good choice.

Great location close to the highway. Perfect for a short stay. However, AC was not working in most of the hotel.

I chose the Carahotel Basel Weil am Rhein because of the design and this was ok. Then the car park is expensive and you can't park anywhere nearby. People at the reception are not helpful and have no good attitude. They don't help with the luggage as well. The room was cold and even if it supposes to be a business hotel, you can’t share the room with a colleague, the shower is with glass in front of the bed. My booking was prepaid including tax, but we checked in they asked me to pay the city tax. In the morning I showed my booking and asked for a refund of the tax, but they didn't do it and said to my wife that they will send me an email and refund on the credit card. Anything happens so far! I'LL NOT STOP HERE AGAIN!!!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, half mir bei jeder Frage. Frühstück ausgezeichnet. Nah an der Schweizer Grenze.

Die gute Lage für die Durchreise ist super. Freundliche Reception. Wünsche würden erfüllt. Der zweite Cafe kostet jetzt 3,80. Das habe ich bei einem Buffet noch nicht erlebt. Das hat sich verschlechtert. Frühstück sonst sehr gut.

sauber, gute Autobahn Anbindung, kostenlose Parkplätze im hotel eigenem Parkplatz war jedoch ziemlich voll, Rezeption Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, auf dem Zimmer eine Flasche Wasser (gratis) , Frühstück war lecker

Hôtel un peu vieillot, mais propre et comfortabke. Accueil attentionné et prévenant. Le petit déjeuner parfait et abondant. Service chaleureux également. Des pommes délicieuses à l’accueil et pour le départ  : une attention très  appréciée. Il manque  juste une borne de recharge pour les voitures électriques…

Die Bilder die an den Wänden hängen sind schrecklich. Überhaupt nicht einladend, sehr dämonisch und es macht keine gemütliche Atmosphäre! Sauberkeit im Zimmer war nicht sehr gut, Haare auf dem Bettbezug! Abzug ist auch, dass er erste Kaffee beim Frühstück kostenlos ist und man danach bezahlen muss.

Das Hotel ist für die Durchreise eine super Wahl. Großes Zimmer zu einem super guten Preis
