Naomi Beach Resort - Adults Only

We had the most wonderful stay at Naomi Beach Hotel in Midigama. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome — their warmth and friendliness truly made the experience special. The hotel is in a fabulous location, just steps from the fantastic Coconuts and Plantation surf breaks which was awesome. Close to everything you need, yet still peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were beautifully designed and spotlessly cleaned every day. The restaurant served some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka — every meal was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. This place has the perfect mix of comfort, charm, and heartfelt hospitality. We cannot wait to come back!

Had a wonderful four days staying here, with a first floor balcony room looking out over the pool to the beach beyond. Bed was very comfortable and shower was great. Staff were quick to sort out a noisy air conditioning unit outside the adjacent room that disturbed our sleep one night. Breakfast was good but not as good as other similarly priced hotels we stayed at where we often also got a fruit smoothie. It would also be nice to receive a cafetière of tea each as the one provided only gave one and a half cups. But staff were always happy to provide more tea when asked. The only annoyance was the background piano music playing through speakers in the lobby, dining area and pool all the time. Whilst the intention is to create an ambience of refinement and luxury, I found volume too loud such that it became so annoying I had to ask them to turn it off or turn it down. They turned it down but it was returned to the same volume the following day so we tended to avoid the pool and visit the beach instead. Sun-beds are provided by the pool, but no sun-beds are provided on the beach in front of the hotel and you can’t swim directly in front of the hotel due to rocks/coral. But walk 50m to the left for a lovely area where you can swim and get fresh coconut, smoothies and food provided by a lovely lady called Dilini, who runs a stand on the beach called Banana Restaurant. Then as the day comes to an end, walk 50m the other direction from the hotel to sit outside one of the many beach bars (just small shacks selling soft drinks and cans from a cooler) watching surfers and maybe see the occasional turtle popping its head out of the water as the sun sets. Magical.

We spent 3 perfect nights at Naomi. It is located right on Coconut Beach, far enough from the road and train that all you can hear are the waves crashing. That and being adult only makes for a very restful place. The room was beautiful, with a comfy bed, a great view, a nice balcony, an amazing shower and a frosty cold Air Conditioner. The pool and grounds are immaculate. The stretch of private beach was so peaceful. Truly paradise! Getting into Weligama was easy, 1000Rp by tuktuk, maybe a little more to get to Ahanagama. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Tomas at the front desk was so helpful, he really made our stay feel special. There are several cafes, bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but you have to go to Weligama or Ahanagama if you need a supermarket. Catch 99, the hotel restaurant was also amazing. The food and cocktails were all delightful. Pradeep was an amazing host! Sri Lanka was an amazing place to visit and the Naomi Resort was such a perfect place to unwind after all of our touring around. Thank you Naomi Beach Resort!

Great service, beautiful location at the beach. Staff was very friendly and accommodating all our wishes (e.g. pens for a game, take away box) and on top of refilling our glasses of wine before they got empty. ;) we had a nice dinner, thank you for this evening.

As we arrived, we were welcomed with freshly made fruit cocktails. The staff was always very attentive and friendly. The restaurant, with its ocean view, offered delicious dishes made with quality ingredients, which was a considerable relief from the limited village dining options. Our room was comfortable, with the sea view. It had an efficient, quiet air conditioning system and modern showering room. We really noticed how quiet the bedroom was, as we didn't ever hear any noises from other guests, piping or other. The general amosphere allowed us to relax without disturbances from other guests. The garden surrounding the pool complemented the natural surroundings. Nearby beach had a natural ambiance with surfing lessons, coconut drinks and fruit easily available.

Beautiful place to have a good dinner at the beach. A bit expensive, but worth to go there. The staff is very friendly and the food very good. It's almost at the beach with nice views during sunset . They also have sushi very tasty. Also nice cocktails , and lovely cakes and ice cream .
