Wellingborough

This was our second stay at the Premier Inn in Wellingborough. We have enjoyed this experience due to the friendly staff and prime location near multiple venues: Starbucks, Tesco, M&S, LIDL, McDonalds, Pizza Hut and much more. The beds are comfortable and a good size. There is no a/c, so be prepared if you don't like it warm in the summer months. The bathroom was very clean and spacious, with an excellent deep soaking tub included. Victoria and all of the front desk employees were delightful during our interactions. We really appreciated their information and assistance.

Everything was perfect we enjoyed our stay and will be back soon the food was great rooms perfect breakfast was lovely we enjoyed every moment was happy to be in the ground floor also we have a family trip and the memories being there was superb .

Excellent stay, I would highly recommend this hotel, rooms are very clean and comfortable, location is good and the price was reasonable. Special mention to Amelia and Victoria, these members of staff go above and beyond to make your stay as welcoming and comfortable as it can be! Also I must mention the manager.......she is absolutely stunning!!!

Good experience an the restaurant and the hotel Victoria was a a lovely manager very pleasant Would recommend the mixed grill, I got extra eggs and they was free because I swerved me chips Bed was comfy and internet was very very fast, even the free one

Rooms very basic with loudest bathroom fan i have ever heard in a Premier Inn and does not get limited even with switch off. Went for a meal in the restaurant. Not busy at all but took almost an hour to receive food and when itvarrived i was in disbelief. The portion size was miniscule. A mixed grill that would of fitted on a side plate. Steak was overdone from requesting medium, gammon was burned and inedible on ends, peas were cold, egg was overdone and crispy on edges. Absolutely terrible. Spoke with the front of house called Selki who was completely professional, helpful and understanding. Im sure many complaints are made here and it isnt the front if house staff that are the issue.

Arrived late, postcode took me to retail park next door, signage was rubbish. On arrival room was cold as window open. That’s ok, lots of fresh air. Breakfast at 6:30 to allow early work start but restaurant always opened late after 6:30. Other punters with me standing in cold waiting. Once in, breakfast not fully prepared, coffee machine on cleaning cycle, no spreads, plastic covers still on cereals resulting in embarrassment when cereal spilled everywhere. Veggie sausages freezing cold, poached eggs overdone. Cereal bowls weren’t cleaned properly. No plates for toast. Appears to be understaffed when busy. Room was noisy due to punter in room above walking on heels loudly. This hotel hasn’t had the upgrade yet.
