We stayed here while visiting an old friend, it’s a nice hotel but could do with little touches, we stayed in room 5, up stairs which are steep, the carpet in hallway leading to room is very faded, in the room tiles in the bathroom need re grouting, the mattress on the bed needs renewing as you can feel the springs, the second glaze window by the bed won’t stay open, nice having a small fridge in the room, staff are friendly. Won’t be staying here again.

My husband and I took the opportunity to enjoy Sunday lunch together today (13.4.2025), just the two of us, whilst our son was away at a birthday party. We have lived across the road from The Old Orleton for years, but have never had a meal there. We can honestly say the food made by Jordan's at The Old Orleton was absolutely beautiful. A good, hearty Sunday dinner which came out super quick and hot! Everything tasted wonderful and it was lovely to have some mashed swede with the vegetables - not had that for years! My husband had the Lemon Meringue Cheesecake and said it was delicious too. The female waitress was extremely professional and helpful - such a lovely person. Top marks from us and we'll definitely be back! Thank you.

Had an excellent Valentine Dinner at Jordan’s last night. Superb food served piping hot, presented impeccably and seasoned to perfection. The staff were very smart and professional. It will definitely be our new regular dining spot if Scott can keep up these standards. Exactly what The Old Orleton needs to support and push forward with its revival. 100% recommend. Sunday Lunch looks good too….

Me and my wife came here for an evening meal for Valentine's (we had three courses each), they didn't have a set valentine's menu so we just had food of their general menu and we were both very impressed. The menu had a good variety of starters, especially the mains and desserts so there was plenty of choice for us with various homemade dishes which is always great. We really enjoyed our meal and we will be coming back.

Lovely pub area - friendly locals and excellent service from landlord. First floor Bedroom nicely done and lovely and warm - radiators you could control! Bathroom needs a bit of work around grouting but all in progress. Whole place very clean and a large private car park. It rained whilst we were there but must be great in summer with many areas to walk! We will be back.

My wife and I have just spent three nights at the Old Orleton. From walking in to register we were greeted warmly and friendly and that did not change throughout our stay. The manager and staff go the extra mile to make your stay special. The new rooms are excellent very comfortable and spotless. The bar is well stocked with locals calling in for a drink and a chat. I can highly recommend this hotel for leisure or business. Plenty of free parking for guests in the hotels car park. We will be returning in the near future.

Wow what can I say ,couldn’t get a more perfect place to say , will and his staff are the most helpful and friendly people, both myself and my friend are partly disabled , nothing was to much trouble for them ,and they offer to help was genuine , ,our room was lovely , room was spotlessly clean bed was so comfortable , the breakfast hamper was fantastic and topped up every morning ,,100% on every thing , we will be back in June , ( we two ladies well over the age of 60 ,have found our getaway hotel ) thank you again will

We've found a new local! A lovely restaurant plate and palate owned separately from the bar and hotel. We ordered X2 beef Sunday dinners with a side of pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese. Absolutely incredible flavours and presentation, one of the best Sunday roasts I've ever had. A small family run business, very friendly & made us feel welcome. The pub is also just as lovely as are the staff, thankyou for making us feel welcome.
