La Rustica Altstadt Hotel

I stayed here for a week in a ‘superior’ room which meant I had a bigger bed and a large balcony, aside from that it was very basic. The worst aspect being the air conditioning which simply didn’t work despite asking the owners to reduce the temperature (because it’s locked and you can’t adjust it yourself). There’s a small bathroom with shower. Breakfast was very basic - 2 bread rolls with assorted ham slices cheese and tomatoes sometimes a fried or boiled egg, along with the expected orange and coffee. Location is central and it also has a restaurant serving mainly Italian style food (see separate review). There’s a small car park at the rear of the property. For one or two days in a basic room at the lower price is probably ok but certainly not for a week.
