Tensing PEN

I am at Tensing for a 3 day solo trip and let me tell you, this was the best decision I have ever made. From the moment I checked in, things were heaven. The front desk is super kind & helpful. The drinks I had from Razor were incredible!!! The 90 minute deep tissue massage I had with Natasha was one of the most relaxing experiences in my entire life. I will be leaving a brand new woman. Thank you Tensing!

My husband and I have thought about staying here for a few years, but always stayed on the beach. We finally did it this year and Tensing Pen did not disappoint!! We loved everything about it. All the staff were wonderful and some were even entertaining! Razor and Damien, the bartenders, were a major reason we stayed here as we had been to the bar over the years. Their service and drinks are the best we have had! We had family drinks and dinner at their bar and restaurant the week before we stayed, and Damien was a highlight for all. We had been to the bar previously and met Razor. He was one of the reasons we booked here. Paul, the lifeguard, is also a great part of Tensing Pen. He is so kind and will take you on a snorkeling tour. The atmosphere was exactly what we needed after spending time on a family trip with our adult children. The quiet and beautiful environment was perfect. We are definitely planning to return next year!

Came here for cocktails and breakfast on a few occasions from our hotel just along the way. Very warm welcome by Tensing himself…a huge Rhodesian Ridgeback, followed by his “puppies” Obi & Zuri. Extremely friendly doggies & very much part of the furniture. We had amazing cocktails at sunset, view amazing. We came back for an evening which was delicious. Totally recommend this place & would consider staying on our next visit

We have been traveling to Tensing Pen for 20yrs. We go every Thanksgiving and try to get there once in the summer. I cannot say enough about how much we love Tensing Pen. My daughter has grown up at TP and considers much of the staff close friends, the staff is family to us. The rooms are all incredible, even at the entry level, if you can splurge on a Pillar you won’t be disappointed with the view. The restaurant is amazing, food and service are top notch, as is the bar. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate guests. The rooms and the grounds are all extremely clean and inviting, and the location is walking distance to many very good restaurants in the WestEnd.

At first glance, I wanst sure about Tensing Pen. It is unassuming and not fancy at all. By the afternoon, I was totally in love, at home and enjoying every second of our trip. The staff are like family, the rooms, even though old school in decor are so cozy and large. I loved the Jamaican coffee and real coffee pot and really anything we needed was brought straight to us. The resort has a vibe..it's hard to explain, but you truly never want to leave. I think it is one of the most relaxing trips I have ever had and we cannot wait to go back. It's surrounds are stunning and we loved the dogs that came and sunbathed next to us. It really is a magical place. Don't go if you are a workout freak as there is no place to exercise other than swimming in the sea or paddling a kayak. I loved the casual vibe here. It was just what we needed to rejuvenate in the middle of winter. The massages were to die for and being in the open spa looking at the water and feeling the breezes was heavenly. Thank you to Paul and Racin who took care of us at the pool, thank you to all the wonderful servers in The Lodge, especially Splinter and Caileen, Razor, Sophia & Randall. We will see you next year!

Tensing pen is our favorite destination for our annual girls trip— the major draw being the amazing massages by maxcine, Georgia and Charmaine! Add to this the charming bartender “razor” and the great wait staff—“splinter” and all the rest and the helpful office staff— wish I could give a 10 star review!
