Days Inn by Wyndham West Memphis

The property is really run down and has a dirty feel to it. The parking lot needs repaving and the stairway to the second floor was so rusty it is about to fall apart. The chair in the room was filthy and the chair should've been trashed long ago. Gross!

There was a roach in the bathroom. The room was really dirty and it smelled like smoke. The room did not look like it had been cleaned in a long time. Housekeeping came in every day to fix the bed but didn’t clean. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Staff members were nice but the hotel room itself was not cleaned like it should have. My feet were almost black from walking barefoot on the floor so I kept my feet covered the rest of my time there. The lamps were rusted and the leather from the desk chair was worn off. The bathroom tub and the air conditioner have mold around. The walls were cracking by the air conditioner and there were spots that looked like there were painted over on the ceiling. There were 2 bags of trash and a microwave sitting in the hallway between suites at the top of the stairs for my whole stay. The heater was not working properly.

I was traveling with a pet (spaniel) for seasonal relocation to our winter abode and needed a hotel along the route for an overnight stay. This was one of the few showing for West Memphis, and I chose it because of its #8 out of 25 ranking on Trip Advisor. I honestly don't know how it achieved that ranking. The room was adequate and bed comfortable, but it reeked with a strong smell of cleaning fluid and the vinyl flooring was buckling. The hotel is in a dreadful location, planted in a vast expanse of deteriorating asphalt with a few grassy strips. I don't blame the managers. They're stuck with that location. Pretty standard breakfast fare was fine. We pass through there twice a year, but this one will not be on my list of future stops.

BED BUGS….. The hotel is not as the pictures shown online. Dirty, Smells, Bed bugs. When we checked in the hotel, we viewed 3 rooms. The 1st room was dirty, black spots on the white pillowcases, base boards missing, and the 2nd room was the same. The 3rd room was better, so we thought, but as it turns out it was worst. The 3rd room has/have BED BUGS. So, we were forced to check out at ¾ in the morning and it took us 2 hours to find a new hotel room. We were told to call the manger AMY in the morning and every time we called, we were told that she wasn’t in. and on the last call I asked if she will be in and was told that she had can in already and gone for the day. So, before we left to come home, we stopped by the hotel, the manger Amy arrived 30 minutes later. As we were talking to her, she advised us of out time at the hotel and she was shown the Bed Bug bites and said they was mosquito bites, so she was shown a picture if the Bed Bug and at that point she gave us a refund.

The best Days Inn we have ever reviewed. We expect this chain to some worn out furniture and not everything perfect but as long as the bed is comfortable with clean sheets and bathroom it is a step up from our years as tent campers. This one was fast check in and a nice guest info book in our room. Allowed us to easily pick our restaurant ( with addresses for gps) for dinner. Refrigerator actually had a freezer compartment for our ice packs! Many do not? Towels were thick and bedding perfect. We didn’t know till daylight but a nice outdoor pool!! Hot breakfast with eggs, biscuits/gravy , waffles etc - good selection. Friendly staff! We will be back right next door to Southland ******.

We had a great stay. We had a variety of good food for breakfast. The staff was great. We came in contact with several staff members, since we stayed for 3 days, all of them were very nice to our family.

Booked this room due to power outage in my city due to storm. It is a Wyndham affiliate and I am a Wyndham owner. Well it looks nothing like the pictures on website. There are men loitering outside. The rooms look nothing like what is portrayed on website. Everything is old and outdated. TV has fuzzy picture and the chair’s upholstery is dirty. There was leftover pizza and pasta in refrigerator. Upon opening fridge I was greeted with that overwhelming smell. Young lady at front desk was pleasant but she wasn’t able to give me a refund. She took keycard, left note for manager and time to call tomorrow as she would be in then. Well she wasn’t. The young lady who answered said she would be in the next day. I probably should have just stayed in my 100 degree house without power. I don’t know why Wyndham would have their name associated with this establishment
