This was a truly lovely restful and delightful stay in a lovely character-filled 'Inn' with superb team members and the most wonderful food. Genuinely we had a restful 18 hours, enjoying interesting and tasty food, great beer and an excellent breakfast. Thank you Callum and Jacob for your care and attention to us.

What an amazing place to stay in such a quiet, classic British village. The staff are super friendly and attentive and we had a lovely time in a brilliantly furnished room. The breakfast is up there with one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had! (only minor point is that they definitely need a new toaster!)

We stayed here after visiting the Game Fair at Blenheim Palace - it was perfect! We had a lovely, peaceful nights sleep, very clean with comfy bed and pillows. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant, good wine, excellent food and very chilled - the sticky toffee tiramisu is delicious! We will definitely return next time we visit this area.

Went for lunch with adult family and sat in the garden. Lovely spacious patio area, some of the tables had parasols, which was welcome in the intense heat and sunshine. We all enjoyed the food and drinks chosen, very pleasant staff. Two of us are vegetarians so some vegetarian mains would be appreciated - as often is the case when there isn’t a choice, I had fish and chips, but not all vegetarians would feel catered for.

The Harcourt Arms was the perfect base for a recent family wedding in the area. We were 3 generations across 4 different rooms and everyone enjoyed themselves. The rooms are very clean and decorated very tastefully - the beds very comfy. We ended up eating dinner, lunch and then breakfast across our 2 night stay. There was plenty of choice in the pub/restaurant and the food very tasty. The staff were efficient and friendly and special thanks to Will who was very patient and accommodating of our last minute changes. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. It’s the nicest one I’ve been to for a long time very individual non-corporate a lot of money has been put into the decoration with it looking fairly new newly renovated.. each room had its own name rather than number hours was Blenheim room fantastically furnished everything in the room from hand sanitiser to tea and coffee toiletries towels everything that you would need. The staff was so friendly and accommodating unfortunately we only got to spend one night there, but we want to return to spend a full weekend. They were just starting a new breakfast menu which was absolutely delicious. I had home-made waffle with poached peaches and chantilly cream which absolutely melted in my mouth. One small thing was they weren’t serving cereals and my husband is a great cereal consumer! So he had the oat porridge which he said was delicious. can’t tell you what a wonderful time we had.

As always, lovely staff and atmosphere. My only complaint is the portion down-sizing during the time we’ve been going there. The best scotch eggs but now with less meat and curry sauce. The chicken Caesar salad served on a dish not much bigger than a saucer - 4 little shreds of chicken for an extra £4. The cheese board for £10/£11 - one piece of cheese only. I love the place - so some generosity with portion sizes would be appreciated.

Wonderful pub restaurant with a great atmosphere. Proper pub feel with open fires and comfy corners and lovely furniture. Good selection of beer and wine. The menu was small but perfectly balanced and our food was perfect. Amazing cheesy leek sauce.

Wonderful well appointed pub- rooms extremely nice and tastefully decorated. Very good shower.First class friendly staff on hand - wonderful full English breakfast- Am told the Sunday lunch here is a must. Would definitely come again. All in all a 10/10 experience .
