Cotswolds Hotel & Spa recensioner

Beautiful location, friendly staff, very clean rooms with either private balcony or patio area. Plenty of parking spaces. Reasonable price Can't complain about anything and we will definitely stay here again and recommend.

The rooms are spacious, well serviced, clean with great views (depending on where you are located of course) I loved the balcony space ,table and 2 wicker chairs and was overlooking the golf course with midday to evening sunshine - perfect. Breakfast had great choices and was kept continually stocked up. Staff were helpful and efficient. Check in was smooth. The South African Handyman (whose name I didn't get) deserves a special mention for being great at his job and very personable. I had a lava shell massage in the Spa - wonderful - again didn't get the person's name. Maybe name badges or encourage staff to introduce themselves might be a good idea It's a great location. 30 mins walk to town centre - good footpath, easy drive. Definitely recommend. Had a great stay. Was a solo traveller and felt very safe.

It’s was a great place to stay very beautiful but sometimes busy with the golfers but apart from not very nice stay.

Great place near the town centre of Chipping Norton. Our room backed onto a Golf course, lovely setting, very quiet and peaceful. Lots to do in the area. Our room was clean tidy and modern, with everything you would need a stay. Definitely would recommend and will definitely be back.

Very basic small room with no sunlight. Heater did not work room was cold and no way to warm up the bathroom it was freezing. Not much bathroom amenities No room service I wanted milk and had to walk all the way to the bar upstairs and wait to be given some milk. Shower was nice but no ventilation Breakfast very average Not enough tables in the venue

The hotel itself was clean but very basic and did not represent or warrant the price point. We were not prior warned of the current works happening at the hotel. Carpet was lifting, plugs in bathroom weren’t working, paint worked damaged. Over all wear and tear but like I said at £130 a night you don’t expect this. Also items in the room were faulty. I was burnt by the hair dryer in the room and all that was offered by staff was advice on how to use a hair dryer. Not helpful and somewhat patronising. The hairdryer over heated causing it to burn my hand and go up in smoke. It’s a real shame as it this defo took the shine off my partners birthday weekend.

Lovely hotel and great location for our overnight stay. Would recommend this hotel.

Overall the hotel was good to stay. The bar has sky sports and a good selection of drinks. There was a lot of renovation and maintenance

A brisk 30min (but slightly precarious!) walk away Chipping Norton where we had evening plans. Hotel was clean and rooms comfortable. On the morning of our departure the shower was freezing and couldn’t seem to get hot water in the room at all. Apart from that the stay was pleasant.

Fantastic location only four minutes into the town by car or if you do fancy a walk will be about half an hour  rooms were nice and clean a little bit smaller than we imagined

Located at 5 minutes away from town center on a main road, with cozy rooms and nice countryside view. Lovely morning tea and breakfast. Friendly staff. Highly recommended and look forward to coming back soon

Had a great couple of nights staying here, it was a good base for us exploring the Cotswolds, the rooms are clean and were cleaned each day. The staff on reception & in the restaurant were friendly and efficient. The food was very tasty on the night we had dinner but the menu was small and if it had been available to see prior to going we may not have bothered. We didn’t have breakfast but there is tea/coffee facilities in your room and biscuits provided which was ample. Will definitely visit again if in the area
