Borderland Wodonga Holiday Park

On first entering the park it looked unkept from the start. The front office smelt of cigarette smoke, the boom gates didn’t work and the grass site was dust. The bins weren’t emptied anywhere near enough for the holiday season and the toilets needed a decent clean, maybe even cleaned twice a day with the amount of guests. For what we got, the price wasn’t reflective of this.

While the staff were lovely, all the facilities need upgrading, showers were cold then warm (I even went to the laundry to hear 3 girls talking in the showers about “have you got hot water? I don’t! Oh wait I have a bit, nope now it’s gone) I did 2 loads of washing while I was there in machine 2 & 3 both machines did not wash mine or my children’s clothes properly (I frequently stay at parks) and for $7 a load I should have just washed them in the sink. And we paid for our ensuite and power which does always cost a little more I was super angry that those in the non powered site were booking up to the power at the dump point, I dont see how that’s at all fair. ( and no not my job to walk the park and tell the front office that’s what maintenance and park managers are for to which I saw nun

We spent one night here on a powered site and, although it is close to the highway, we felt that there wasn’t too much traffic noise. Our drive-through spot was easy to park in and there was a a great pub around the corner for dinner. Facilities need a little updating but otherwise a great stay.

So disappointing for a Big 4, my son was really looking forward to staying here because there are usually good kids facilities and other kids around to play with. Our site was nice but that’s it. the pool that was advertised as heated was infact really cold. The kids games room was one lonely table tennis table in a cold bare empty room. The big 4s usually have carts to ride but there were none to be seen, and the office was closed when we arrived at 5pm on a Friday in school holidays, so even if they are available we wouldn’t have been able to hire one anyway. No play equipment that we could find, and the mini golf course is weedy and unkempt. Mould in the bathrooms, and the whole place looks sad and unloved. A real shame as we have always loved our Big4 holidays and kids have slats had a blast. Would not book again unfortunately

We spent 2 nights here on a powered site. Some of the concrete sites are hard to get into because of the trees. The toilets and showers need a major heavy duty clean as it appears only basic cleaning done. There are quite a few permanents there and they have collected a lot of “junk” which makes the park look unkempt and uncared for. There also appears to be a lot of workers living there. Security is not very good. Cars were driving very fast in and out of the park.

We have stayed in a lot of caravan parks but sadly the over all look of the park is very run down. The state of what appears to be onsite vans are a disgrace and are a bad look for the park. Our cabin was clean and tidy but very run down. Staff were very friendly
