This was an overnighter, an early birthday present for me. The Westbrook is now our numero uno for Connecticut, our go-to place on the shoreline. Merri was the perfect hostess, and her staff were helpfulness and graciousness personified. Our room (the Old Saybrook) was everything we could have wanted; I personally was greatly impressed with how spotless the bathroom was.

Meri and her team hosted our elopement. It was all we had hoped for and more. They were accommodating and attentive. The lnn and cottage were lovely. It was a perfect day and weekend for us! The breakfast was yummy, the grounds were beautiful, and we loved having access to the Patchogue river and the house kayaks.

I stayed at the sister property last month and had a wonderful experience. The Inn did not disappoint. Check in was easy. My room was charming and quiet. The breakfast was incredibly delicious. And the staff was attentive. Definitely would return when I visit the area again.

We stayed in the cottage and it was fabulous. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom is beautiful. Everything is new, fresh, and clean. It is quiet and private, as well as very close to the breakfast dining room. I’d live there for a while if I could!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Westbrook Inn ! From the welcoming hospitality of our host Meri to the delicious breakfast and the beautiful property on the river. Quintessential New England charm !! Great location, walkable to the beautiful beach overlooking the magnificent Long Island Sound ! Highly recommend!!

We had the pleasure of meeting the Innkeeper on this visit and we now understand why this charming Inn is so successful. Many personal touches and impeccable service. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast was delicious in their adorable dining area. We look forward to our next return!

Dear Innkeepers My stay was brief, overnight. The furnishings are beautiful Victorian pieces. Availability to the river and beach is within walking distance. Coffee, tea and filtered water is readily available all day/night. However, upon entering the Inn I noticed a distinct unpleasant odor. My room was small but clean and adequate. The breakfast…to my taste, frozen waffles/dried chicken-sausage with processed toppings. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Based on what I consider a 4 plus star Inn I will not be returning.

Nine of us. . . . Longtime college pals stayed at The Westbrook in August for two nights. We were all attending a wedding in nearby Old Saybrook. A wonderful experience !!! Immaculately clean, quaint, with a small town feel. The manager and the owner were very attentive, helpful and did their best to make sure we all were having a great stay. There is a firepit on the grounds where we all met each night with our own cocktails to reminisce and relax. The grounds are well-maintained, the rooms are very tidy, with ability to control our own air conditioning. The breakfast was delightful, served with a smile from 8-9 am each day. I would highly recommend staying at the Westbrook.

I desperately needed a place to get away to in order to unwind and sort some things out. This was the perfect place! The setting is so quiet and peaceful. Honestly, everything was perfect, from the room, the gathering places, and the beautifully presented breakfast. There was nothing left to chance. Every place you looked was beautifully appointed. The owner and the staff were eager to engage in pleasant conversation. You couldn't help but feel so much at home here! I truly did not want to leave! I will be back again, for sure.
