This hotel has a lovely vibrant energy, friendly staff, a good gym and leisure centre, and access to parking. If planning on staying here it might be important to know that Reeds restaurant can only be accessed via package deal (slightly disappointing), however the bar offers good food to all guests. Unfortunately, the main issue my husband and I had was the very uncomfortable beds. Pillows and matterresses felt quite hard and uncomfortable, and we both struggled to sleep as a result of discomfort during our stay. Other than uncomfortable beds, we were impressed by the hotel, however we would not choose to stay here again based on the quality of beds. %#@#

Ideal hotel for a wedding. The willing staff solved all special requests . Nice comfortable big room. The hotel has the option of a spa, fitness or massage. Tasty food, excellent breakfast ⭐. Amazing Hotel, a real gem. Staff excellent & food exceptional, Dinner in restaurant was such an wonderful experience. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel & cant wait to be back. Rooms are bigger than a standard hotel. We checked in early & had bar food. Every member of staff we meet throughout our stay were fantastic, all loved their jobs.

Stayed at the Ferrycarrig Hotel on 12th July for two nights (one of my many visits). It really is a gem. Check in was fast and friendly. The rooms are large with excellent facilities and large screen TV and Wi-Fi. Beautiful view over the Estuary from the balcony. There is a lovely Bar that serves food which is delicious (pity they dropped the Shepard's Pie from the menu). Evening dinner is in top class Reid's Restaurant. The Breakfasts were some of the best I got anywhere and requesting poached eggs was absolutely no trouble. My highlight on visits is the leisure center with a lovely pool, Jacuzzi, steam room & sauna. Wexford town is just 10 minute drive away. I also highly recommend a trip to the Heritage Centre which is just down the road from the Hotel. All in all a lovely hotel with friendly staff. I am looking forward to my next visit already.

We had a brilliant weekend break in the Ferrycarrig Hotel a few weeks ago! It’s such a pleasant hotel with a beautiful view overlooking the Slaney estuary. Peace and tranquility! The staff were so nice thank you Greg for looking after us in the Restaurant. Food was terrific I enjoyed the scallops particularly and good wines. Highly recommended we’ll be back!

A great stay at Ferrycarrig. Lovely modern room with fab views. We had a fine dining experience in Reeds restaurant. Excellent food and a special mention for Chelsea. A really lovely young lady who went above and beyond. She is a credit to your business.

Amazing stay. The lady at the desk, think her name was Shauna, was extremely helpful upon arrival and gave us a free room upgrade. Hotel facilities exceptional and swimming pool was great for the kids. Wife loved the gym and the walks around the hotel. Would highly reccomend and will definitely return!

Lovely hotel in Wexford. Beautiful food and staff all very well trained. Have to mention Anthony in Reeds restaurant and Ellen on reception. leisha in the bar so friendly and professional. Great service in this hotel. We will definitely return soon. Great band in the bar . Beautiful wedding on at the time and lovely firework display. Rooms are all lovely and clean. Swimming pool is been renovated at this time so hopefully that will look better. No dressing robe or slippers in my room and I had no balcony. Had to ring reception for milk and towels as we had none . Overall a lovely hotel .

Stayed for two nights prior to our trip from Rosslare to Pembroke. Excellent value two night dinner bed and breakfast deal. Staff very helpful. Do get a room with a balcony overlooking the river. As we had an early morning boat to catch, reception ordered a takeout breakfast for us, very thoughtful.

Another great return visit to the Ferrycarrig Hotel. Great room, spotless, great food and wonderful staff. We booked the 3 night midweek package, it was worth it. We had fabulous food in Reeds Restaurant every night and a great breakfast each morning.

We are3 friends who have been returning to the Ferrycarrig Hotel for years for our annual holiday. The Hotel is fabulous - first class location and facilities. All the staff are just fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble for them. It’s like coming home each year. The breakfasts and evening meals are amazing. I have to adhere to a gluten free food regime but thats never a problem here. It’s the only hotel I have no worries about this and am facilitated in a no hassle manner. We cannot compliment the staff enough from Jean on reservations to Lucy, Supervisor, Ellen and Kim on front desk, to Derek the perfect charming gentleman/host manager at breakfast and Eoin and Alvina and the wonderful chefs in Reids restaurant. Thank you all. Highly recommended. A+++++

Please please clean your windows. Hotel is in a beautiful spot but the windows are so dirty. Disappointed with the food. 19.95 for fish goujons aka small portion of chips and 4 goujons. My daughter kids meal was chicken goujom and chips and hers was bigger at 7.50. Please have your staff check under the bunk beds they ain’t been cleaned in a long long time. A pint of coors and a pornstar martini was 19.80.

This was our 1st trip to Ferrycarraig Hotel. We have been on many hotel breaks over the years but this one surpassed all. Room 513 provided excellent views of the Slaney river. Room was clean and very comfortable. Gifts of chocolates and special occasion pillow case greeted us. Breakfast and dinner in The Reed restaurant was superb. Leisure facilities were more than adequate. All staff were polite, friendly and eager to help. Will definitely return. Thanks to all.
