Stone's Throw Guest House

Nikki looked after us very well, from cooked breakfast to homemade biscuit treats. Our room was clean, comfortable and reasonable size for an old town house - good to have a couple of chairs and a table as well as a bed to sit on. Very central, yet the street was quiet. The big plus was off street parking.

Several months since our last visit and a warm welcome back from Nikki, more a friend than a hostess. Standards are still as high as you can get, quality fittings and comfortable beds. Apart from a great room and breakfasts it's all the little things that make the difference, soft thick towels, quality toiletries, (including soft toilet paper), fresh milk, biscuits and cakes. We travel much but always look forward to returning to Stones Throw. It's the only place for us in Weymouth and we've already rebooked.

Stone's throw was quaint and charming. It was in a fantastic location right near the beach and restaurants. Nikki made lovely breakfasts for us each day, I especially enjoyed her eggs with spinach and hollandaise on toast. The homemade cakes and biscuits were also delicious. The parking lot fit four cars parked two by two; while we were there there was only one other car which made things easy for parking. The room was not large but it was about the size I'd expect in a British seaside resort town. It was a great spot to rest before heading out on oceanside hikes!
