From the moment we parked up (right outside) we were made to feel welcome. Greeted at the door by the hosts and booked in. Everything explained to us regarding breakfast and the room etc. The room was amazing! (we had the triple) loads of space and the bathroom was gorgeous (especially the shower! Wow!) room was spotless, bed was comfortable and the location perfect! Breakfast was cooked fresh each morning and was spot on. Nothing was too much trouble, would definitely stay again if we visit Whitby. 🙂

brilliant guest house everything you need is provided bathroom especially good lots of surfaces to put toilet bags ect plenty of plug sockets breakfast was very good even offering smoked salmon if you want it as well as full English room very clean

We were welcomed by Gwen on our arrival who explained everything we needed to know, the breakfast was excellent all good quality ingredients cooked by Lee and the different time slot option is great as there is no waiting its ready for you at the set time, the room including the bathroom were spotless and very modern and done to a very high quality, the onsite parking is a bonus at no extra charge. It's a 10 minute walk down hill to the centre of the town but a bit of a slog coming back up the hill especially after a few beers! so a taxi was called for the 2nd night we was there, the town is lovely with plenty of shops, pubs and eateries along with all the historical aspect of it to, it was the pirate festival weekend so there was plenty going on during the day and evening with pirates everywhere:) Overall we had a love stay and when we come back again we will make sure we stay at the crescent Lodge Guest House.

Wonderful break, we wouldn’t hesitate to visit again! Lee and Gwen were fantastic hosts. The room was modern, extremely clean and spacious. Breakfast each morning was excellent. The location is perfect and having a free parking space was appreciated. No complaints at all, thank you so much for looking after us and helping us have a great family holiday.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights in this guest house. The rooms are very modern and spotless. Plenty of room and fresh water / milk for the fridge along with towels ect. Breakfast was freshly made to order and tasty. Gwen and Lee were perfect hosts and nothing too much trouble. Thank you

This was a return visit and my stay was as good as the first time. The room was spacious and clean, as was the shower room. The bed was comfortable. The fridge is a bonus, with fresh milk for tea and coffee. There is a menu choice for breakfast and these were well cooked. Gwen and Lee are very welcoming hosts and I have booked again for next year.

We had a great stay at Crescent Lodge. The room was spacious, comfortable, very nicely furnished and with a spotlessly clean and modern bathroom. Breakfast was absolutely fine. Gwen and Lee made us very welcome. Whitby is a terrific town, picturesque, very historical, lively and near gorgeous countryside. The guest house is a slightly strenuous 15 minute walk from the centre, through a pleasant neighbourhood and a very pretty park. All thoroughly recommended

Spotlessly clean, great breakfasts, welcoming hosts. Short,pleasant walk to town or the beach. Uphill on the way back so we got a taxi sometimes but the taxi only cost £5. Great to have parking on site.
