My family booked 4 rooms over the Memorial Day weekend. It felt like we had rented an AIRBNB but with all the hotel amenities! We especially appreciated the thought and attention given to every tiny detail and the beautiful patio and garden where we had snacks and drinks most evenings. We'll be back!

We love this Inn and have stayed several times over the years enjoying each of the upgrades as they have been made. The most recent is the best yet! Lovely quiet gardens, spacious and modern rooms, a view of Mt. Hood to the south from the street side rooms, and if you are staying during a wine tasting you won't be disappointed. Within walking distance to restaurants, a few wine shops, and shopping. The Inn of The White Salmon is a great place to spend nights after you have enjoyed some of the many wineries on the Washington side of The Columbia River Gorge.

What a gem! Rooms are beautifully appointed and even better than the pictures. A very creative retrofit of a 1937 apartment(?) building. Friendly, kind staff. Can't say enough good about the Inn. If you're in time for dinner, don't miss Henni's, just down the block.

With such an impressive name, you would expect a lot more for the price. The rooms are very basic - no sitting chairs, tiny desk, thin walls, no microwave, non-existent decor, tiny tv, on-street parking, flimsy locks on the door. Don’t let the name fool you. This is a very poor value.

What a joy it was to stay at the Inn of the White Salmon! This charming little historic hotel has everything you could ever want: an amazing, walkable location to downtown White Salmon, quiet rooms, a beautiful garden and patio, the nicest staff and owners (thanks again, Florian & Nicole!), and hands-down the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in - ever. Plus, it was probably the *cleanest hotel* I've ever experienced - and I normally stay at the Four Seasons. I also really enjoyed the high-end, yummy toiletries - such a bonus! There's a really comfy common hang-out space as well. It has a fireplace, books, games, a few sofas and free coffee! The Inn is also super close to Hood River, and all the fun stuff you can do in the Columbia River Gorge. You should make it your next stay!

We always stay here when we come to White Salmon. The location is very convenient to the downtown and we love spending time in the beautiful courtyard in the back. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the town and surrounding things to do. Added bonus are the beds and pillows which are top notch!

Just loved this hotel, beds were very comfortable-the double room is not real spacious but there is a lovely outdoor area to enjoy breakfast or a drink in the evening. The gal at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

I had a great time attending the wedding of my friend over the 4th of July weekend. I was not excited to be traveling during one of the busiest holidays of the year, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Hood River/Columbia Gorge area, and the adorable town and Inn of the White Salmon. Christine, the manager, was very friendly and helpful. She and the owners gave us space and allowed us to respectfully enjoy the premises outside in the evenings and were just helpful in every way. The place is nicely appointed and the beds were very comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I only have one requests which is to follow through with the Eco-friendly theme of the place by eliminating K cups. I love the pods, but aluminum or just potted coffee is great and recyclable.

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn of the White Salmon while doing a rafting trip on the river. The staff was so helpful and arranged a late checkout for us so we could clean up after our whitewater experience. The hotel is clean, classy & quiet with a very enjoyable rear garden patio for drinks and relaxation, where we were warmly welcomed by Huxley, a very friendly tabby. We felt the rates were quite reasonable for a place this nice.
