Fabulous accommodation right over the road from the beach. Impeccably clean and well appointed. We had an upstairs unit which gave us spectacular views and privacy. It's an easy walk to shops, and we thought the location was brilliant. The motel owners and their team were welcoming and friendly, which added to our overall enjoyment of our time in Whitianga. We couldn't have asked for more and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Definitely recommend.

Great accommodations directly across the street from the seawall. Dan, our host, was very friendly and even provided us shovels to use when we went to Hot Water Beach to try out the thermal springs. Beautiful sunrise views from our private patio.

Comfortable, clean and very spacious room. Views stunning - motel is in a great location right opposite beach. Staff friendly and helpful. Comfy bed and very good shower and facilities. Very relaxing. Kitchen well equipped. Would stay again.

Karawe! Most enjoyable stay. Dan was the man, friendly and relaxed, just want we needed. Very clean, spacious, warm and the bed was just perfect and have to mention the generous breakfast. The view just stellar. So handy to bars, restaurants and shopping. Recommended to my friends and family and hope to return for a girls weekend. Ngā mihi

We booked this place last minute after a terrible night camping, looking at the photos it wasn’t worth the cost however we were desperate - from the moment we arrived we were proven wrong. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful with everything, you’re right on the beachfront with a lovely patio area out the front to take in the views, the sofas are out of this world comfy and the rooms are very spacious and immaculately clean. Would highly recommend this place as an absolute bargain! And the gorgeous puppy at reception was an added bonus!

An ideal one night stop whilst travelling as a family round NZ. Ample room for 5 of us along with a fab view across the bay. We were able to walk into town to eat and the breakfast supplied in the morning was good and set us up for the day. Cereal, toast, fruit, yoghurt. Rooms clean and tidy, plenty of towels and toiletries. We couldn't get the heater to stay on no issues they gave us a portable heater in stead. The double bed also had an electric blanket which was fab as it was a particularly cool night. Staff friendly and helpful. Would have no issues recommending and staying again

We stayed here with a small group tour we were doing of North Island. We expected so much after having a recommendation from the boat captain who did our Cathedral Cove Cruise. He told us that the breakfasts were legendary and that the views were outstanding. We found the place in need of a great deal of T & C. The views were outstanding, but the fact that nobody seemed to care if we were staying there or not did not make up for the great views. Breakfast was dismal at best! A small bowl of corn flakes, 2 slices of bread, tinned fruit and a small pot of yoghurt. I would not have minded so much if we had not paid $345 per night! Tired and outdated rooms, poor customer service and a dismal breakfast do not equate to $345 per night!

We stayed here for three nights and the best thing was the location which was right opposite the beach and an easy walk into town and restaurants. The manager was friendly but the accommodation could do with some updating. The facilities included a laundry but unfortunately no dryer which meant we had to go into town to dry our clothes as it was raining while we were there.

My new favourite place to stay. A stones throw to the beach, quiet and spacious and great for the family. A heated pool and tennis courts on site made it great if we didn't feel like going anywhere. Like it's own little community. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back again.
