From arriving to departing, the whole experience was awesome. The staff were so helpful, friendly and welcoming, like we were regulars, everyone looked after us so well, after a long couple of days on the motorbike from Perth, it was nice to get, special mention to Christy in the restaurant. The meals were great, well portioned and good selection, the room was just as awesome, great space, nicely laid out and the bed so comfy, not sure when we will be over that way but the Sundowner will be our go to place to stay

Clean and tidy units. Warm and cosy with nice big bed and even though there was only two, we had a unit with extra room for a family. Plenty of supplies in unit. Excellent stay. Close to town and easy to find.

This was a relief - I have been into Whyalla before and thought it had terrible food options. This restaurant was great. We had great service. The menu has a great variety - and also reassuringly not to long. Everyone at our table loved the food, ranging from the Mongolian Beef to the Vegetable Stack to the very good Phillipino beef dish. They keep a salad and roast vegetable bar to keep the hangry at bay which is nice, but the wait on food was really no trouble. Table service throughout. I will definitely be back, next time to use the accomodation also.

Very disappointed. Stayed there a year ago and very pleased with room & meal. Not so this year, carpet in room very badly stained which made rest of room feel dirty. Armchairs also could do with a clean. Bathroom was fine. Meal in dining room very average. Chips were cold & no taste to salt & pepper squid. Snitzels were just thrown on plate with pile of chips, certainly did not look appetising. Salad bar excellent. Took 1 hr for our meals to come out.
