Awesome get away. Staff was nice & hospitable. Food was amazing. Bed was the most comfortable I’ve been in for years.

Kay EL Bar Ranch is conveniently located just under an hour and a half from the Phoenix airport. However, you feel so far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. Kay EL Bar is a charming, simple ranch that has everything you want out of a dude ranch vacation. The staff and wranglers are such an outstanding crew and our vacation wouldn’t be as amazing without them. Thank you especially to Ky and Brady for making our trip so memorable and unforgettable. In addition, thank you to John Blue and Keith for preparing food that left us very full and even happier. The food was so delicious and plentiful. Who knew horse back riding worked up such a big appetite! The horse back rides were beautifully scenic and Ky and Brady were great the teach us history lessons, tell us about to local vegetation and give us the lay of the land. We also got to enjoy archery and shooting during our stay! The activities were so much fun and the days flew by with our full agenda. We were so lucky to have vacationed with some amazing guests from around the country/globe and everyone had such great reviews of the ranch. We will absolutely be returning, but hopefully next time for longer! Thank you again to the entire Kay EL Bar crew. For those looking into staying here, you can stop your search now because you won’t regret vacationing here as a couple, family, or friend group. We even said how amazing this property would be to host a wedding!

I haven’t felt this rested in a very long time. Staff was amazing, accommodations were just what you’d expect from a ranch but better! Will definitely return with the entire family.

Great getaway from urban life. The dude ranch experience was unexpected and fun. We were looking for a 3 day stay at a traditional motel to visit family. Staff was very attentive and freindly. While we didn't do many activities the environment was a great deal of fun. The great room (joint living room) with fireplace was realy special. THe chef was excellent each meal was so delious and unque in many ways. The beds do need upgrading particularly for seniors. They need to tend to some safety issues as many of the outside ground lights were not working making it hazardous to walk the walk ways after dark.

Peaceful and serene Absolutely beautiful location. Horses, birds, all kinds of stunning flora and fauna around. It was quiet and peaceful, someone always available for questions or whatever. It is off a dirt road ( little tricky on our motorcycles), but the location added to its charm. Rooms are comfy and clean and the food was really good! We didn’t take advantage of the activities they had to offer, horseback riding etc, but I’d love to go back again and try it someday.
