The location of the hotel is very convenient for Wigan town centre. However, the directions provided by the hotel prior to my visit made finding the hotel very difficult as they instructed me to enter the wrong post code into my satnav. My room was clean but very basic. I had a good nights sleep. However, I made the mistake of having the full breakfast next morning. It was awful and at £11.99 not cheap. There was no bread for toast. The fried eggs were solid clearly they had been cooked sometime earlier and just left to go rock hard. The bacon was again over cooked and solid and the black pudding was again totally solid through over cooking and when I tried to cut into it, it oozed fat. The staff in the restaurant just seemed to be chatting and showed no interest in me nor asked if the breakfast was OK. I was going to report this dreadful service at reception as I left but there was no sign of ant staff to report it to. The breakfast is certainly to be avoided.

Stayed at this hotel as I was down to visit my family. It’s really close to the town centre. I had dinner in the restaurant I was served by bex and Emily. The food was nice and the service was excellent. Will definitely come back to this hotel again. The staff can’t do enough for you

Had a really great stay , staff were amazing especially Jo and Sandy and nothing was too much trouble for them . Food was very good and room was spotless . Couldn’t fault the whole experience and would recommend to everyone . I will definitely be staying here again next time I’m in town . Thanks again

The room was cold. I went to ask if they had some kind of heater I could borrow. Almost as an after thought I was told, oh I’ll turn your heating on. She went out the back and obviously altered something which allowed to air conditioning to heat as well as cool

I stayed here whilst on a work course, I suffer with severe anxiety especially when alone and particularly around meal times so do not stay away from home - the staff at this hotel were incredible, Sandy and Bex in particular were so incredibly kind and considerate, they made my stay not only possible but enjoyable, there was also a very kind male staff member at breakfast time that took considerable care to make sure I was comfortable - the staff at this hotel are a credit to the brand and management should be very proud

Lovely stay at this premier inn would say it’s one of the best to be honest everything we needed was on the doorstep and the room was spotless Aaron and Casey were lovely who was working the night shift nothing was to much trouble and they was very chatty would definitely stay here again

Ideally situated for Wigan town centre, but nice and quiet at night. Very helpful and friendly staff and the room was clean and well appointed.

Great stay in this premier inn. Close to centre of town and train station which we used during our stay. We arrived early around mid day. Although we couldn’t check in we used the toilets just to get a quick change before leaving for the day. We didn’t go back to check in until after midnight where we met Aaron who was amazing with us. He got me some iced water from the bar area to take to the room as all the complimentary glasses had been used. We also asked him for extra milks to take to the room. He said they were out of them but filled a little cup with fresh milk for us (very much appreciated) 😊 Rooms were what is expected from Premier inn and had a good nights sleep.

Great place to stay. Room spacious and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and staff were all friendly and looked happy in their work.
