Views Boutique Hotel & Spa

The view over the beach from the hotel is stunning. Room overlooked the beach, with a balcony. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was nice with cold and Cooked options (the open breakfast sandwich was great.). We ate in the restaurant on two nights - good range dishes on the menu. The staff are outstanding and could not be more helpful. A fantastic stay.

Both Cynthia and I want to thank you for a fantastic stay this past weekend. We had a truly lovely experience and enjoyed our valentines break very much. Our room was fantastic and the views were absolutely lovely. Cynthia fell in love with the cushions and sheets! The valentines buffet was excellent as well – of course also helped along by our corner table with a view over the lovely Wilderness beach. We made full use of the facilities in the spa and this was a recipe for relaxation. Going for a late night sauna and swim before bed is the right recipe for a great nights sleep. Also pass on our thanks to all the staff that were friendly and helpful.

As long-time locals in the area, we were genuinely excited to share what we thought would be a beautiful dining experience with visiting friends from Greyton and Knysna. The setting certainly delivers on views — but sadly, that’s where the praise ends. Four of us ordered the kingklip, and all four portions were overcooked, tiny, and outrageously overpriced. For a dish that should be a seafood highlight, it was an utter disappointment. The service was also slow and inattentive, and every meal that came to the table was astonishingly average given the premium pricing. What makes this experience so frustrating is that we had been raving about the venue, hoping to give our friends a taste of something special. Instead, we were left embarrassed and deeply disappointed. To say we were shocked by the poor quality of the food and service is an understatement. Sadly, I cannot recommend The Waves Hotel to anyone — it is an overpriced, overrated establishment that trades on its view rather than quality. What a shame, and what a sham.

Anyone who doesn’t like this hotel will never be happy It’s divine The staff are lovely The rooms are fantastic The food is stunning The gym is good The rooftop pool area is great And the views over Wilderness beach are to die for One tiny constructive criticism - it’s not easy to order food and drinks on the pool deck I solved this by phoning the hotel but there must be a better way ;-) Aside from that the place is unimpeachable

The Views is an amazing 5 star hotel. The views over the Indian Ocean are amazing. The rooms and bathrooms are very large and spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable, and large. The bathroom had great shower and a bath. Breakfast was superb. We also had a delicious 5 star dinner in the restaurant. The spa is lovely especially as it rained one afternoon while we were there. The are delightful. Don't miss this hotel.

Stayed in the penthouse which was absolutely amazing with fantastic ocean views. Everything was new and modern and the bathroom was stunning. Had a hiccough with the restaurant on the first night but the manager handled it so well and needs to be commended. Loved the heated indoor and outdoor pools.
