Reges Oceanfront Resort

This is you typical Jersey Shore hotel It is older and needs to have some of their profit reinvested. The rooms a typical hotel room set up, the beds werecomfortable. We noticed that the floor was damp, we thought it was maybe from our cooler, it was not! We reported this to the cleaning staff and was advised that it is typical, the A/C vent in the wall has condensation and was dripping down the wall! It was also dripping from the light in the bathroom. The balcony with the ocean view was perfect. It is a short walk to a very wide beautiful beach. There is a nice size pool. The staff was very friendly.

We recently stayed at the Reges Oceanfront Resort for over the July 4th holiday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodations were clean and we enjoyed our stay. Short walk to the beach. Great Ocean view! Reges cafe and take out window were close by and provided good food.

We have stayed at the Reges multiple times and it never disappoints. The most recent trip was early in the season, so the hotel and Wildwood generally were less crowded than mid-Summer. We have also gone busier times, and it is still a wonderful location. As always, the staff are excellent, rooms are very clean, the property is immaculate, and the pool was warm (the weather was a little chilly). The resort has a cafe that serves breakfast and lunch...very convenient if you don't want to walk or drive for food.

14 seasons and counting and has never gotten old. Truly for us an amazing hotel, staff, homey feeling. Each room with the exception of the 1st floor boasts an amazing direct ocean view. No streets to cross just step right onto the sand. So thankful for finding the Reges back in 2011!

If I could give it zero stars I would. My family and I were thrilled to take our first family vacation as a family of four to Wildwood. After a lot of research and based on great recommendations, we chose Reges to create our first memories. Unfortunately, a tropical storm had been predicted to hit during the length of our stay and will impact this location immensely. So much so that the pier and games and rides are choosing to close down. When my husband and I called explaining we no longer felt safe vacationing during a tropical storm with a 1 year old and 3 year old, we were hoping we could reschedule our trip to a later date. We even offered to pay the up charge if we rescheduled during high season. We wanted to give the hotel our business. We were told “no” and to “reread our policy”. My husband was told “managers do not come to the phone” and to email where we would get a response in 2-3 weeks time. They did not work with us, didn’t care about the storm or our safety and couldn’t careless if we came back. We are very disappointed in this hotel.

We came back to the Reges after 35 yrs in Cape May.This is where we started on the Jersey Shore.What an awesome experience.Our grandsons said it was better then our previous 15 yrs in Cape May.The rooms were great.The staff was awesome whether front desk or maintenance or maid service.. It was an awesome experience.Rooms great.Pool clean ,Grills experience.Good restaurant for breakfast and lunch.Pool open till 9 which was awesome.What a wonderful time.Rebooked for next year.
