The VIP Family Motel

This is my third trip to the VIP Family Motel and every time I’m blown away by how impeccable this place is. My extended family has been going to Wildwood Crest for over 50 years and there is no need to look any further. The VIP has wonderful, old school charm, but with all the modern conveniences. A family operated gem on the Jersey shore!!

This motel is a terrific family vacation spot. The accommodations are updated and clean, and there is plenty of sleeping room! Suites include fully-equipped kitchens, and the patio has several tables for eating -- so you don't even have to spend a lot of $$ on your meals. Includes a really nice-sized pool as well as a well-equipped playground. And it's only a block off the beach! If you thought you couldn't afford a family beach vacation, you haven't looked at this place!

This is the first year that our family has stayed at the VIP Family Motel and hopefully it will be the first of many. The owners are amazing. Melissa made us feel welcome the moment we entered the office. The staff is friendly, courteous and very professional. The rooms are absolutely spotless I have never stayed in a motel with this level of cleanliness. It truly surpassed my expectations. Anything that you need the staff is very willing to provide. The children’s playground area, or “the park” as my grandchildren call it is an awesome place of entertainment for them. Numerous slides, a sandy beach, swings and a pirate ship are the highlights of the park. There is a deck with three rocking chairs where parents can sit and watch their children play. The motel is a half block from the beach and across the street from the conference park. There is ample parking and you don’t have to worry about leaving and not finding a spot when you come back. The guests who stay here have been coming back each year with some families coming more than 30 years. It is my hope that my family will be doing the same. This resort is by far the best place for kids the pirate ship ..the swings ..the pool.. my 2 n 6 year old had something to do all day... there's lots of other children there to for the little ones to meet .... the staff was amazing got a chance to talk to the owners they are so kind and will help your any need... I'll see u soon my kids are begging to go back .... o n extremely quiet at nite we for all the rest we needed with out the drama some resorts bring

Long overdue review from Summer 2021 - looking forward to the next visit in Summer 2022! We stayed in August 2021 with my wife and two-year old daughter, and honestly it was the best vacation we had all year! Almost immediately upon staying here, you can tell that the location was very well-thought out for families: swimming pool with a children section (shallow part of pool), rooms with a kitchenette, and a playground with a cool wooden ship structure and sand to play with. Also very close to the beach and a nice pavilion/lawn. However, the best part was the staff; they actually take a ton of pride in what they do, and are proactive - specifically in what ways they can be of help - from housekeeping services to restaurant recommendations. Very consistent, high-level of service. Just booked for this coming summer - excited and highly recommend.

The “family” in their name reflects the way they treat all their guests. From the moment you arrive you are treated like family. We began vacationing here in 1979. We have watched this wonderful family grow and are so honored to now meet their fourth generation of hosts. We are now vacationing here with three generations of our family. The location is wonderful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The grounds are kept in very good condition. Love it here!!!
