This was a great trip to the grand canyon, hotal was perfect for the train trip. I would say this hotel is great to visit.

This is the best way to see the Grand Canyon if you’re not staying there or don’t want to drive. We had a blast! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Very entertaining from start to finish. All the spots are paved and level. Hookups are conveniently located and modern. We would definitely come back.

This was such a fun trip. The hotel was well taken care of and the staff was great. There are 2 on-site restaurants with great food. The suites are amazing, and the property is well taken care of! We will definitely return.

The Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel property and staff were excellent. However, the staff at Maswik Lodge, whose property was included in this tour package could all use "Reasonable Accommodation" training. Our experience while there left such a bad taste with us that I am not sure that we would purchase any package that involves Maswik Lodge.

Great place, the staff is very helpful. The lobby has old charm, the ticket office is old fashion, which I love, and the restaurant is buffet-style, the food is very good. The wait staff is also very helpful. They have a strict schedule to keep to if you're taking the train to the Grand Canyon, so be sure you follow the schedule!

First of all the hotel was a bit underwhelming-the rooms were clean but lacked touches and could be improved on . Cleaning service wasn’t automatic and surprisingly the pool area had no showers or proper changing facilities. I had to change in a bathroom with hardly anywhere to lay your bag. The hotel is linked to the railway and within close walking but further to walk to the shops and main high street area. We didnt eat at Fred Harvey but found good restaurant on the main drag. We had a drink at the bar and bartender working flat at and busy. Nice bar with features to look at. The train ride was fun and an experience. It would have been good to have information about the excursions once you reach the Grand Canyon as some folks were catching buses for tours and we hadn’t been given any information about those! Having said all of this the experience of visiting the GC was truly worth it and highly rated and would love to return again.

Excellent package deal but be careful to know where you will be staying if you don’t mind or can walk long distances to your room. Bring fill able jugs because no plastic bottles are sold.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel for two nights. We stayed here the night before and after our train ride to the Grand Canyon. This hotel was clean and comfortable! We did not eat at the restaurant or bar during our stay. The hotel is large and it was a long walk from the parking area to our room.

The train was an excellent way to travel to the Grand Canyon. The ride was smooth and even though a little boring at times, we saw wild horses and real cowboys rounding up their cattle. Jane, the narrater in our Coach class car, was full of information and kept us entertained with her humor. We had just over 3 hours at the canyon and it was enough time to see several different views of the Grand Canyon. Would recommend this experience!
