My third stay at the Nog Inn and again it was spot on. Comfy bed, clean room, really well appointed and very welcoming and friendly welcome. Will definitely be back.

We popped in here after checking The good Beer Guide. We had hoped for fish and chips but just our luck it was a Sunday so roast dinners only. Our kids had the chicken roasts which were outstanding. We had not booked but the very pleasant staff accommodated us anyway. A very good pint to be had here too. Recommended!

We were stopping over on the way to the S West. What a great place - they went out of their way to save us a car parking space opposite the hotel, the staff are very attentive and the food in the bar area was excellent value with a good busy atmosphere. The room was newly decorated, very warm and cosy and with an excellent bathroom. Breakfast was terrfic with a good chat with the owners, who are delightful. We couldn't fault our experience in any way - thoroughly recommmed the Nog Inn.

Great location, fantastic friendly staff and a lovely stay. Would come here again and great value for money! I stayed here during Glastonbury weekend as it was only a 20 mins drive and was a lovely period of rest away from the hedonism!

Great Place to stay, rooms are away from the main pub, so no noise. Comfortable bed and nice soft furnishings. Personalised breakfast and no pressure to take other meals in the pub. Limited car parking opposite the pub

The rooms have only just opened and are superb. Huge comfy ben, amazing bathroon with walk in shower and seperate bath Large TV, Wi-fi Tea/coffe etc.. Overall excellent and the lovely pub provides great food and a cosy environment. Right in centre of town and only a mile from racecourse

A very warm welcome as soon as we arrived. Our luggage was carried to our room. The room was amazing with a lovely en-suite. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Friendly staff and locals. Lovely relaxing outside drinks area. Nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfast cooked by Will. Will definitely be staying again.

We stayed here to break up the journey on our way down to Cornwall. What a find! We enjoyed a tasty meal in the pub (I had the pork belly & my husband had a burger – the food was so good!) before we headed down to our room for the night. The rooms are tucked away at the rear of the pub in a pretty walled garden. We stayed in one of the downstairs rooms and it was just beautiful. I particularly loved the little touches such as dressing gowns, complimentary toiletries and a decent coffee machine! All the staff we met were lovely – chatty, friendly & helpful. This will be our overnight stop off on future journeys!

Stayed here for one night with friends Checked in at 6pm and then went to bar to enjoy the craft beers on tap We later had evening meal in the restaurant area which was very enjoyable The four rooms at the rear of the property have been refurbished to a very high standard Spacious, relaxing paint scheme, very comfortable bed and amazing ensuite All the usual refinements, pod coffee plus kettle and hairdryer The hosts Amy and William are wonderful and I am about to enjoy my full English breakfast I would highly recommend
