I paid for an early check in, but I was made to wait for over 25 minutes where I had to prove I had actually paid for it after being told check in isn’t until 3pm. I then had to wait just as long to get a room key. The breakfast was fantastic, but the service at reception wasn’t good at all. There was also no one else at reception and the restaurant wasn’t open, so there was no excuse of being busy or short staffed. Everytime you go to reception you have to ring a bell, and wait a few minutes for someone to arrive, even if you only left a few second ago. I had to go to reception 3 times during check in, so this was very frustrating. The parking is separate from the hotel, so when I was told I would receive a refund in an email due to the parking charge increasing after I had already booked, the reception told me that they don’t have the ability to do this as the parking is separate from the hotel.
