Wow. Carla was brilliant. We were massively let down by an apartment we had booked in Keswick. Told an hour before check in that the apartment wasn't available. We had to look around last minute whilst stranded with our newborn, for somewhere in the Lake District that was available. Carla got it all sorted with us within a quick phone call. So glad we looked at the Windermere/Bowness area instead. Was well worth the change of plan. We stayed in the Ground Floor Kingfisher Apartment. So much room and so clean too. Also an excellent location and pice. We will definitely be coming back. Lisa, Tom and Baby Louie

Although very comfortable we thought that £140 for our 1 night stay was very expensive We knew the owner were remote but feel breakfast should be included in the price although no one on site Bath towels were very small and room seemed to have been done very cheaply if not adaquate Very good nights sleep at quiet location We feel £100 would be fair price

My wife and I spent 1 evening , everything we needed provided I room / bathroom. Room clean and tidy and tea and coffee provisions available. Tv available , with choice of good channels ie Netflix , Itvx etc. The occupants in other rooms abide by the keep noise to mi between prime evening time which meant good nights sleep

Pre / post booking communications with Carla were really easy via email, for our stay. Key box worked great! Room and facilities were very clean and comfortable. Short stroll to the Lake, restaurants, bars and shops in Bowness; easy bus route to Ambleside. We’ve stayed in many hotels and B&B’s over the years in Bowness and would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Last minute booking for new year and it was perfect. 2 night stay very reasonable price and great location with 10 minute walk to Bowness. Our room was spotless and so warm & comfortable. We can't wait to return.
