Elim House is a really beautiful place to stay. Our room was very spacious, clean and tidy. Mark greeted us as soon as we arrived and was very helpful for anything we needed. The location of the hotel is great, a very short walk to restaurants and bars and very easy to find. Plenty of parking right outside too. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

We had a 2 night stay 16th 17th Feb.. We have been going to Elim House for many years now. We have never had a disappointing stay at this lovely Lake District property. Mark and Grace work hard to keep Elim House immaculate and have made us feel welcome every time we have stayed there. It's a room only property now. But there are plenty of places for breakfast. Mark recommended us to Mio Mondo, which is a 3 minutes walk. Excellent choice. Parking at the property is not a problem as it has a car park at the rear. The property has also had an electric charging point installed, which is excellent for the EV drivers. Highly recommend Elim House. We will be back to see Mark and Grace again. Geoff & Di

Stayed here for 2 nights and the room was lovely with comfortable beds and it was in a great location just a 5 min walk down the hill to the bars and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again and I would highly recommend this place as a base to stay for the area.

Nice B&B, clean rooms. Unfortunately, quite a few stairs to climb with luggage. Bed was quite small for a double. Good tea/coffee supplies in room. Lovely garden to front but car park at back down some very steep concrete steps. Walk into centre of Bowness on windermere approx 20 mins, worse coming back as quite a steep hill.

Great communication from Mark, a pleasant welcome on check in, the room was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Situated in a quiet location, but not too far from the amenities, bars and restaurants. I believe there is parking at the rear of the property but we were lucky to secure a free space at the front, the car was there for our whole 2 night stay and no problems at all.

We stay here for two nights last weekend as a group of friends and it was perfect for what we wanted. The location is great everything very close by and Mark the owner was amazing! The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable and there were a few of us that used most of the rooms and everyone was happy with their room. We would definitely stay here again if Mark will have us. Thank you so for everything

Small hotel situated in a very quiet part of Bo’ness. Parking to the rear which was great. We stayed in the coach house which is at the side of the main hotel. The room was a very good size, immaculately clean and fresh. Beds were very comfortable. Very quiet at night too Plenty of storage to put our belongings. Nice touch with the charger hub by the bed. Bathroom has shower over bathtub and again was a good size. Mark was a great host and kept me informed right up to our visit. He replied promptly to any messages I sent. Would definitely visit again. I chose this hotel as it was for adults only. They don’t do breakfast anymore but there were plenty of eating places nearby and Mark also gave us some suggestions. More and more places just offer room only now which I understand as some mornings we weren’t ready to eat until later. Plenty and tea/coffee/etc and Mark happy to give more if needed.

There were three of us in the group and we stayed two nights after completing the Dales Way. The host was very helpful and the rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. Beds were really comfortable and it was quiet. The location is brilliant for staying in Bowness and would stay here again. Breakfast wasn’t provided but there are some lovely places to eat. We were offered a 20% discount if we stayed there again.

Arrived at Elim house after a long walk in the rain in need of a warm shower and room. Had neither . After a Luke warm welcome in a shoddy hallway we dragged our bags out if a locked room up 2 flights of stairs to a dated room . Shower!! Really … I am a small person and this shower cubicle was so small but it got worse with the electric “shower” which dribbled out with either boiling hot or cold water . So no shower ! Very poor accommodation, awful shower, matter of fact welcome . Says it all!!!
