Booked this as a last minute New Years getaway with my boyfriend and we were both over the moon with it. The location is amazing, just under a 10 minute walk down to Bowness centre, or 15 minute walk to Windermere centre, so was a great place to stay. The room was perfect for us and a good size, tea and coffee provided, there was also a mini fridge in the room to use, hairdryer, fan and a small selection of books or games which was a lovely touch. The entrance of the property provided spare toothpaste, brushes, toilet paper and tea essentials, there was a chalk board with all recommendations of restaurants, bars, walks and various locations which was so helpful! The owners were lovely and checked in with us, even gave us a later checkout which was perfect due to it being New Years! We will definitely be staying here again and have recommended it to anyone we know, thank you for the lovely stay!

Lovely clean room.great hosts, fantastic selection of fresh coffee,teas,orange juice and homemade treats to enjoy too.lovely big shower. Easy self check in. With extras such as toothpaste, loo rolls if needed. Loads of local info in hall way such as taxi numbers, things to do. Nice quiet location. Bus stop just a short walk away. Perfect location.

Great accommodation, easy to locate and walkng distance to all in Windemere and Bowness. Villa Positano was great recommendation for dinner - great service, friendly owners and well priced. Lovely comfortable room, good bathroom. Room well equiped

Great place central location lovely owner very helpful if u need anything stayed in small double room comfortable and clean nice little touch with the cakes and orange juice never had toothpaste and they had complimentary toothbrush and tooth past packs so thank u will be back soon booked direct for best prices 😋

Great location lovely room really enjoyed the stay even stayed an extra night fab time. The little touches made the stay even more enjoyable. Had a great nights sleep bed was comfy lovely light and bright room. Plenty of tea and coffee even a little orange squash🫶

A lovely cosy Guesthouse in the perfect location for a break in the Lake District, near to the shores of Lake Windermere. A short walk to the restaurants and shops in Bowness. Steve & Vicky are a lovely couple, who make sure that you have everything you need.

Me and my partner had the most amazing and relaxing stay at Invergarry guest house this weekend. The guest house is in the perfect location for a wonder around both Windermere and Bowness and both Victoria and Steve are the most welcoming hosts making sure every second of our stay was the best it could be. There is an abundance of recommendations for food, activities, drinks and places to visit so you’re guaranteed to see the best bits the lakes have to offer. The room was cosy and there were lots of personal touches, which made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be visiting the lakes again and without a doubt will be choosing Invergarry guest house to stay! Thankyou very much for such a lovely stay x

Excellent location between Windermere and Bowness. Just a short walk down to the lake. Bus stop at the end of the road. Parking outside was an added bonus. Room was clean and had all tea making facilities and a welcoming snack. The owners popped by everyday and where very friendly

So perfectly situated between Lake Windermere and Bowness on Windermere Such a lovely experience. Every possible little comfort was thought of. We enjoyed the homemade flapjack and little jar of sweeties. Check in and out process was so simple. Lots of great recommendations for treks,adventures and nice restaurants to try cleverly mapped out on a notice board in the lobby. Highly recommend a stay here as we throughly enjoyed our time with you. Hope to come back again one day. Thank you 😊
