Wholly agree with all previous reviews. Lovely hosts for whom nothing to help us was too much trouble. Big room, spotless, with bath and shower. Outstanding breakfast. Please note the attached pub is only open Thurs - Sun so for food you’ll need to go to Avebury, or the excellent Italian (Strada) in Broad Hinton on Mon - Weds.

We were cycling the King Alfred Way and this accommodation was perfect: great welcome, good room and shower, good quality and quantity food for dinner and breakfast, secure bike storage. Ben and Cody and team were great hosts and made us very welcome.

Ben & Cody our hosts could not have been more helpful, and obliging. Breakfast and dinner were superb. Great choice, quality and quantity. Good atmosphere in the pub. The little touches in the room and on leaving made all the difference. Would recommend to anyone. Hopefully we will stay again. Thank you both.

This place is beautiful and the perfect little spot to stay for a few days and is close to Avebury which is perfect! The family who own the place are absolutely lovely people and they went above and beyond for us from getting us extra bits for our room to even helping with bags and given us a goody bag for the trip home. One of the nicest little families we’ve met so thank you so much for everything we will 100% come again! Thank you; Belle’s, Leon & Mabel :)

Stayed here overnight before going to a wildlife hide nearby. The room was spacious, tidy and comfortable. The hosts were extremely welcoming and made me a full English before going to the hide which was very accommodating as it was early. The food was v tasty, lots of good local produce and nice local ales in the bar too. Very good value too, highly recommended.

We know this pub well because, nearly 30 years ago, we used to walk here every week from our home in Broad Hinton. Now we live in Cornwall and wanted somewhere to stay whilst visiting family and friends. We booked the Robin Suite, which was ideal for us and our three retrievers. We were made most welcome, dogs too, and were impressed with the lovely room and views over the countryside. A really comfortable bed ensured we both slept well and didn’t need the additional bed, which had been made up for us on request as an escape plan in case of too much snoring! And the breakfasts … the best we’ve had, including those on luxury cruises. All served with a smile by the delightful young hosts. Thank you for a super stay.

A lovely spot in the quiet country not too far from Avebury. Above all the welcome was the stand out experience. We were offered tea, we were very parched, we did not expect to have a tray service with a pot of tea and biscuits, we really appreciated this. I guess this sums up our stay, Elderbrook House offer a very personalised experience, comfy beds, quiet sleep, lovely breakfast and a good location. The room was large and the sheets and towels smelt fresh and freshly laundered. The location was great for us as we needed to visit Marlborough the following day. The breakfast was excellent and tailored to each guest.

We spent two days in Avebury as a group and were warmly welcomed by Cody and his lovely family. Everything was perfect, down to the last little detail. A delicious meal in the evening and a generous breakfast with a personal touch, a small flag with each participant's name which appeared on our plate. It was very touching! Cody and his wife are extremely friendly and ready to help you... even looking for you when you got lost during your hike... once again a big thank you to both, we had a wonderful time in Elderbrook House

I'm not usually the sort of person to write reviews, if I do then it's because something is either exceptionally good or exceptionally bad, in this case I am pleased to say that it is most definitely the former. Me and a friend stayed here overnight whilst cycling the King Alfreds Way, we were welcomed in despite being absolutely plastered in mud and grime and our bikes were made equally welcome and secured inside for us overnight. After an amazing bath and shower we retired to the bar for liquid refreshment and much needed food. The food was excellent and I can heartily recommend the marmalade and whisky bread and butter pudding, divine! The room was very generously sized and very comfortable with great facilities, the breakfast in the morning was generous and also delicious, Eggs Benedict is a favourite of mine and this is one if not the best I have ever had. To top it all off Ben gave us a bottle of water, pack of biscuits and a piece of fruit each as we were leaving to see us through until lunch time. Absolutely amazing, good luck for the future.
