Mere Brook House

What a find! Mere Brook house is a fine Victorian house, centrally located on the Wirral, in a lovely peaceful location, yet close to Chester and the M53. We had a spacious and elegantly furnished room with an extremely comfortable king bed. There are views of the garden and adjacent farm, and you can see Wirral rugby club, from the window of the ensuite. We enjoyed sitting in the oak panelled lounge, and breakfast in the conservatory. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was very enjoyable

The communication was excellent from the time of booking until checkout. The rooms were absolutely spotless & perfectly decorated. We stayed in the coach house with our puppy. The property was stunning, both inside and out. We absolutely loved our stay & wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

A real gem. Stayed one night to attend a nearby party in room Flora in the coach house which is immediately next door to the main house. Wished we'd stayed for longer. Beautiful clean room and bathroom/wet room. Fabulous decor, comfy kingsize bed, tea/coffee/biscuits/water, thick soft towels and use of hand/shower/shampoo lotions. Friendly helpful staff. Only complaint from my husband was there was no cooked breakfast. However the help yourself complimentary continental with cereals, yoghurt, fruit, pastries, toast/jams was more than adequate. Large carpark with a few reserved for residents. Highly recommended (If you're looking for somewhere good to eat the Wheatsheaf/Cowshed pub is 3 mins drive down the road in Raby)
