Travelodge Woking Central

The Travelodge in Woking is well placed ad easy to find. The facilities were good, and the room was clean and tidy. We had breakfast and enjoyed it though the fruit we normally eat had not been delivered. The manager kindly gave us reduction for this omission. We hope to use Travelodge again our our next outing.

We stayed one night. Good location, very convenient to get to Woking station if you have a train to catch. Room was okay, breakfast was nice and service was good.

The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from the rail station with many pubs, shops and restaurants nearby. Our room was clean, comfortable and also included a fan for hotter weather. Staff were friendly and welcoming and we had a pleasant stay. The only downside was that the shower curtain was too short and fitted so that it hung outside the shower tray so we had to use towels to mop the floor each time we had a shower.

It was a good stay and I was hosted by Bimochan a supervisor. He welcomed me with gratitude and made me familiar with every facilities provided. It was a pleasant staying there and it's very convenient location because it's just opposite to train station.

Amazing stay as always. Comfy clean beds and bathrooms. Free parking, very courteous staffs, housekeeper's and management. Special mention to man behind reception Bimochan and Sajan. Thank you. Nice and quiet, even though close to town.

This is not a hotel fit for purpose, more like a very cheap hostel, if that. I booked a room in Woking Travelodge, due to work commitments for one night. I travel a lot for work, and have been staying in different hotels many times a month, for the past 28 years. But this stay, will never be forgotten and not for the right reasons! When I first got there and parked my car, I Was welcomed by some dried up vomit on the floor, right by the front entry of the travelodge, where the parking machine is. Not sure how long this had been there, but it didn t seem 'fresh'. Once in my room, the heat in the room was unbearable, as no air con and had to keep curtains closed at all times, as there was a building in front of my room. A fan was provided in the room. So, I was staying there in the dark sweating. The carpet in the room was filthy, with numerous large brown stains. The sink and shower in the bathroom were not draining at all. The sink was actually unusable, and some pieces of bread came out of it when I tried to use it. I had to wash my teeth on top of the toilet. When using the shower, as the water was not draining, this floaded the floor. One of the lights by the bed was not working. The worst part of my stay was the CONSTANT slamming of doors, that was continuous throughout the day and night. This was VERY loud in the bedroom as there doesn t seem to be any insonorisation! I barely slept and kept being woken up by that continuous slamming. In the morning, I thought I ll make myself a cup of coffee. The mug and the spoon were dirty! After rinsing them in my shower, I used the pasteurised milk provided in my room. Unfortunately, it must have been out of date as there were some pieces of milk/cream floating on my coffee, which I didn t drink of course! Also, in the morning, I heard some commotion and shouting in corridor. It was my 'neighbour' across the hall who was arguing with the manager of the hotel and complaining about the door slamming and the blocked drains! To add to all that, that 'neighbour' was smoking in his room so the whole floor was smelling of cigarette, but he was saying to the hotel manager that he was refusing to stop smoking as the place was a dump! When checking out, I told the manager the issues. He apologised and told me that I should have asked to be moved room. I wasn t even offered a free coffee as a goodwill gesture! (Which I would have declined as I wanted to get out of there ASAP!) This hotel is used for emergency accommoda
