We ate lunch at The Punchbowl in Woodstock. As an allergy sufferer eating out is always a trial but the staff were amazing and the attention to detail outstanding. No stickers/labels on my plate which can be embarrassing , just good food well cooked and delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed by the rest of the party too. Thank you Punchbowl, we’ll be back.

This was our first trip to Woodstock and The Punch Bowl Inn and what a find! We will certainly be returning as couldn’t have stayed anywhere better. Our room, the service we received, the food, staff and attention to detail were all second to none. This family run Inn and amazing team have created the winning formula. It is the best place to stay in Woodstock, which if you haven’t been is well worth a visit as a stones throw to the beautiful Blenheim Palace. We will be back very soon. Thank you again to you all. Another great meal served by friendly and helpful staff, accommodating all needs including gluten free and a one year old. Food was served as and when we were ready (baby allowing) which we really appreciated. Definitely part of all visits to Woodstock now.

Good breakfast, noisey rooms due to traffic. Our group had booked for 3 nights B&B. 2nd night the bar closed at 9.00 p.m after our group of 12 had orderd and eaten their meals which was an extra from the restaurant. No explanation ,the lights were turned off and we all had to go to a pub up the road, although we were residents !!!

Had a complete nightmare with this place. Very unaccommodating and inflexible. They wouldn't move my booking to any date in 2025 as there was no availability. Tried to talk to the owner but it was a one sided conversation, very surprised by all the positive reviews, perhaps he was just having a bad day. I won't be returning to find out.

Had a complete nightmare with this place. We couldn't go because of the storm. Roads were blocked so physically couldn't get to the hotel. Phoned to cancel and Tony ended up shouting and hung up on me. They wouldn't move my booking to any date in 2025 as there was no availability. Steer clear!

I arranged a met up with friends at this venue, we waited to be acknowledged with no avail, when we finally got a response it wasn't a greeting that i would expect, very rude and unwelcoming, will definitely not recommend this Restaurant/bar. We ended up just having a drink and going elsewhere for lunch which was much more accommodating and enjoyable.

A very warm welcome on arrival, a beautiful well equipped room, spotlessly clean. Fab location. Little sign saying ask for ear plugs if required but so quiet it wasn't necessary. Highly recommend the Punchbowl and its staff and quality of accommodation. Will definitely stay again. Thank you Tony and the team .Keep up the great work.

Great local Inn to stay at in Woodstock. Friendly staff, good food, convenient parking, and nice room. It is in the center of town with lots of local restaurants and pubs to choose from nearby. The breakfast was also very good. Very much recommended.
