The Feathers Hotel

Our second visit to ‘The Feathers’ in less than a month, we had another fabulous stay, the standards in the hotel are exceptional, beautiful rooms, a very comfy bar area and excellent restaurant with ‘The Nest’, the food, wine & service are a delight, I can highly recommend ‘The Feathers’ & with the lovely Woodstock, Blenheim Palace on the doorstep & Oxford 15 minutes away by car what’s not to like.

Beautiful hotel and stylish room. Stayed in Feature Room. Very comfortable bed and lovely furnishings. Very friendly and very helpful staff. Loved the complimentary cake. Room overlooking local pub was noisy until 12 as people were sat outside. Would love to stay again but would choose room away from pub.

We took advantage of their B&B Blenheim package and stayed two nights in the attic suite. On arrival we received a very warm, hospitable welcome and it already felt like a 5 star experience. The hotel has been fully renovated and the attention to detail is second to none, and easily up there with the cleanest hotels we've stayed in. The attic suite was very spacious and had everything you needed, to include a fridge with complimentary drinks, a pleasant welcome note, a bowl of fresh fruit, some homemade cake and a very comfortable bed. Also worth a mention is the room included very efficient air conditioning (that came in handy during this hot spell). We dined at the Nest restaurant on one evening, the service and food quality was top draw, certainly worthy of the 2 AA rosettes. The outside space (the Aviary and terrace) was so relaxing and comfortable and with a Pizzeria for the lighter bites. The location in the market square is perfect, multiple lovely shops and pubs, and you can walk to Blenheim gates in 10 mins ! Overall, excellent value for money and I would recommend this hotel.

Returning from Le Mans we stopped off for Breakfast in the newly refurbished Feathers. I stayed four years ago while at Salon Prive. It is as delightful now as it was then. Breakfast was delicious and Mitchell was first rate in attentiveness, service and chat. Olga on reception was bursting with charm and personality and an asset to any establishment greeting those on arrival and upon departure. I look forward to returning in three weeks after Le Mans Classic.

I have eaten several times at The Feathers Hotel, and I can't recommend it enough. We dined in the hotel's restaurant, The Nest, and the food is simply outstanding. The Aviary bar is also excellent, with an impressive cocktail selection, with some really unique, creative concoctions, and the new renovation offers a luxurious space to enjoy them in. Whether you’re staying overnight or just passing through, don’t miss the chance to indulge in their amazing food and drinks. Highly recommended!

Just stayed there and loved it. It has been freshly refurbished and is a beautiful small inn just a short walk to Blenheim Castle and their grounds. The staff and the food are delightful. We should say that the age of the charming building means there are some small, steep stairs but the staff is very helpful with your luggage. The absolute only warning we would give is that our room next to the street was noisy until the village went to sleep, which wasn't too late..
