The travel lodge at Wooton was on the outskirts of the town near the m1 motorway
The decor is very run down a side door with broken glass and a weedy path greets you on your approach from the car park.
The room was comfortable the bed very comfortable. Shower was fine coffee tea avaliable in room.
We arrived at 2.00am but not a problem as a lovely girl called Monique I believe sorted us out on arrival letting us use her mobile phone as we had a problem to sort out. Her warm welcome was very much appreciated
I asked for an ironing board and iron in the morning again no problem from another female member of staff.
Stayed two nights and again was helped by the male receptionist to order a taxi which to Luton Airport had to be booked over the phone this gentleman made the call through his phone.
The Toby restaurant annexed to the hotel was also in need of decor refresh bathrooms particularly bad smell.
Only instant coffee available with water from an old boiler type of thing really out dated. Should be made clearer that you have to order from the bar section and pay in advance before going to get your breakfast.!!!
Overall OK for the money staff excellent let down by the decor and in need of a cleaning modern upgrade. Location would require a car as about 5 miles from northampton Town centre

Amazing everytime I stay here and staff are quick to serve and very polite, welcoming. Would definitely recommend the stay.

I stayed here when visiting g family in Northampton. We arrived later than expected and the receptionist Emily was amazing, she ensured the check in was quick and easy, which after a long drive was very welcomed. I would definitely recommend. Thank you Emily

Probably one of the nicest stays ive ever had staying in a travel lodge. The lady on reception (Emily) was very friendly, polite and extremely helpful nothing was to much trouble for her a credit to the company. I'll definitely be staying here again

We arrived a bit early, to spend the weekend with friends, so made sure we had the right hotel, the receptionist, firstly couldnt find our booking, we found out she was the supervisor, also wanted an additional £15 to leave our bag, ! So we had to carry our bag around all day with us. When I checked out, I left my phone charger and lead in the room, app 2 hours later I popped in to pick it up, and was told, No phone charger or lead was left in the room, the receptionist didnt even look, or ask, or check, just said Nothing left in the room. We will not be returning to a Travel Lodge , I must presume that I have to pay additionally for honestly, I know realise thats probably the reason that the rooms dont have locks or security catches, we had to prop a chair and suitcase up against the door.

Worse low budget in the UK. Very rude and arrogant supervision who has no clue about the safety and security of customers. She will allow anybody who comes in and says they are your spouse into your room without even checking with the customer if it is true. I will never advice anyone who wants their privacy and safety to book that Hotel and especially when that supervisor called vlum or vum is on duty.
