Hotel was booked on our behalf by a tour operator and the location is immediately opposite Dworzec Główny tram interchange and the train station is also next to it. It is convenient for tram and bus services, which are very efficient and the service connects easily to the whole town. You can purchase time based tickets from the machine next to the tram stop, with instructions in English and is straightforward. You can also use the Jakdojade app to purchase tickets and route plan, but it is not well promoted, and also adds a small amount to your wallet each time you buy a ticket, which is rather irritating and could not avoid. Be prepared for a lot of noise when staying here, with tram and bus services shuttling past until the early hours. If noise doesn't bother you, then it's OK, however, sleeping for the 2 nights we were here was very difficult. Check in is usually from 3pm, but we were let in earlier, so worth asking. The first room we were allocated had no curtains and the Velux blinds above unreachable to close, so the room was useless and the polite receptionist was helpful in moving us. In the new room, our air conditioning unit was dreadful, being hard to operate and very noisy, along with frequent vibrations that sounded like a pneumatic drill every 5 minutes. The room gets very hot without it - April stay - and opening the window was not an option due to the traffic. We raised the issue, but the response was generally that's the way it is and to adjust the settings, which did not help. Tea and coffee facilities are included, but no long life milk was provided, so kind of pointless. We did have a fridge, so it's possible to buy your own milk. The room was generous with space and the bed was OK. The shower was good, but it did leak. The hotel has no restaurant or bar on site for guests, so we purchased breakfast at reception for another hotel about 5 minutes walk away at the Europejski. It was pretty good and had a nice charm about the place, Staff are generally friendly and there is a luggage room and a late checkout purchase option from 11.00am on the day you leave, but we elected not to pay this and left our belongings to go explore. We would not stay here again, due to the combination of poor air conditioning and the noisy interchange which left us exhausted, with little sleep the whole weekend. If returning to Wroclaw, we would find a hotel further away from the interchange, and with public transport easy to use, you are never far from a bus or tram stop.
