Service and breakfast are great. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and were disappointed. The food didn’t live up to the 5 starred hotel standards.

We had a wonderful stay at this picturesque hotel, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Our private villa was beautifully designed, evoking the tranquil ambiance of a Banyan Tree resort. While the villa's secluded location required a buggy ride to reach the lobby, the service was exceptionally quick and attentive. The hotel's stunning backdrop, set against the majestic Wuyi Mountain, was truly unforgettable. However, to maintain its high standards, some areas of our villa required attention, including the floor tiles, countertop, and tub, which needed refurbishment. Additionally, the living room carpet appeared worn and dirty. With some focused maintenance, this hotel has the potential to exceed expectations and solidify its reputation as a premier destination."

A luxurious hotel with spacious room (as compared to many hotels in other countries), charming landscaping, fun cultural activities, excellent staff service and sumptuous buffet breakfast. Special mention to 管家小洁和小范, thank you and appreciate your assistance and service. Bonus point, if you order food delivery from outside, the service staff will collect and send delivery to your room.

Stayed at haloyon villa for 2 nights and i must say the service was excellent! Was assigned the ecological twin room which was facing a construction site for the 1st night and the construction works started at 6am in the morning. I requested for a quieter room the next and the staff gave a free upgrade to garden twin room. The resort area is very pretty and theres buggy service to bring you to the reception or breakfast place. Breakfast buffet spread was good with a very nice environment. The hotel also helped us to secure impression da hong pao show tickets at a cheaper price and got us really good seats that was just beside the VIP seating area. The hotel staff was also very thoughtful and prepared a box of tea leaves for us for the inconvenience caused from having to switch room. Will definitely stay here again if i come to wuyi the next time.

Amazing stay here at Wuyishan, five star service and amenities. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a luxury experience !

Amazing, never regret, must stay here for a few days

The environment is beautiful and peaceful. The room’s amenities and decoration are practical and comfortable. All the staff are very polite. Breakfast offers a wide range of delicious options. A hotel that’s definitely worth recommending.

This hotel stay was one of the highlights of our 10 day Fujian trip. The Wuyishan Shan area is beautiful, and this hotel is well set up for groups, and multi-generational family stays. We enjoyed exemplary service from staff especially Kiwi who helped us with Chinese-English translation, John from concierge and our wonderful housekeeper who was extremely patient and meticulous. We enjoyed the raft ride with afternoon tea, the outdoor courtyard hot spring tub, and the shuttle cart service to all the different gates— this allowed us to explore the external surroundings of this hotel including scenic walks, homely traditional restaurants and a tuk tuk ride. Lastly do not miss the Impression Da Hong Pao show in the evening. It is extraordinary!

I've stayed in five star hotels around the world, and this was among the best if not the best. And certainly in terms of price/performance, it could not be beat. We paid HK$1200 (about US$150) for a 45 sq meters room with balcony. Things got off to a good start when they upgraded us to a villa which would have been perhaps 30% more expensive had we selected that....still an amazing deal. The room was pure luxury, with every amenity you could want. No cutting corners in this hotel, everything was top quality, right down to the little fountain in the courtyard of our villa.  All the staff were very helpful and professional. I don't speak Mandarin, so my wife was in charge of communication and had no complaints at all. Some of the staff spoke English, but certainly not all of them, so a translation app might be useful. Our villa was a 20 minute walk from the restaurant and reception, so we had to call for a buggy ride, but never had to wait more than a few minutes. The breakfast buffet is huge and caters to both Chinese and western tastes with lots of fruit and vegetables available. The baguette was outstanding even for a western five star -- to find this quality bread in a Chinese hotel was very surprising.  The swimming pool and the gym looked great, but after a full day in the park, both of us were too tired to take advantage of either.  The hotel is 20 minutes walk away from the main bus station within the National Park. On the first day you need to take a ten minute taxi ride to the South Entrance to buy your ticket. After that you can ask the front desk for directions to the Wuyi Palace bus stop which will save you time -- or take a taxi there which will save you even more time. 

Had a lovely 3 night stay over Christmas break. Took a 3 hour high speed train from Shanghai. The hotel offers free pick up service from the train station with reservation made in advance. Everything was very smooth. When we arrived at the hotel, my kids enjoyed the buggy ride from the main lobby to our villa, where there was a nice tea, fruit, and pastries waiting for us. The hotel is very close to the National park. It’s about a 30 min walk to the south entrance where you can get tickets for the bus that takes you around the park to the hiking trails and bamboo raft trip. Remember to bring your passport. We forgot but our photos were accepted as ID. On our way out, we had some pictures taken on-site. We forgot to book in advance but the staff were very accommodating. We do not speak mandarin at all but we were able to get by with Google translate, WeChat, and some of the staff are English speaking. Overall, the Villas are very nice. The pictures look exactly as shown. A true 5 star. Would highly recommend.

Awesome experience... Perfect destination for honeymoon couples.. Fiona from the reception was very helpful in every aspect and Mary from Housekeeping was always smiley and ever ready to serve

Hotel view was a 10/10. Nice swimming pool and gym. 管家小范和小洁 have kept our room absolutely clean and neat, allow us to return to a comfortable room.

Lovely resort with 5* service. Was genuinely impressed with the hospitality and impeccable service standards of the staff. Breakfast spread was really good and we truly enjoyed the breakfast despite not being fans of breakfast meals. Would definitely be our choice of stay if we do go back to Wuyishan again in the future.
