Grand Hyatt Xi'an recensioner

I have selected a hotel from the reviews, which has many excellent reviews. I was surprised when I encountered the service of this hotel. The manager here always lies. Firstly, they gave us the room that we haven’t chosen. We were informed that they had upgraded, but the room they provided was very uncomfortable. When we said we didn't want these improvements and wanted a room that we had initially booked, we were told that all the rooms were occupied and we would have to stay in the only remaining room. After about an hour of arguments and hearing the manager's lies, we obtained the number we originally booked. The attitude of the management was horrible. During the conversation, I was often interrupted and completely ignored. I had to shout loudly in order to get the room I bought. Only after this they gave it to us. This is completely unacceptable. To make up for the wasted time, they propose to us a car to go to the airport. We agree. And after that they forgot about it!!! We were almost late to our flight and called to us the cheapest didi. If I knew, I would order a car by myself, but we were run out of a time. Everything was completely horrible.

We checked in around 12 min night and was served by Ms Loopy. She also slept helpful to share with us where we could get our yummy supper and also sending us various links that we could explore for the next two days. The room was spacious compared to other other hotels we have stayed during this trip. Upon knowing one of the rooms were celebrating their wedding anniversary, she made a personalised card for them in the wee hour. The toilets were also very spacious with both a shower and a large bathtub which were both very enjoyable. The only shortfall was we were unavailable to swim in the pool as we were not aware of the requirement to wear a cap. Suggest the hotel to keep visitors informed of the detail prior to others' trip. The hotel's environment is beautiful and the architectural design is very unique, making people feel relaxed. Hotel staff Judy service is very thoughtful, our requirements can be met in time, can be called silky service, Hedy left us a very good impression. The hotel rooms and gym are very attentive to protecting the privacy of guests, stay very comfortable and safe, very recommended.

Beautiful hotel. Close to the metro but farther from the downtown than I expected. I was upgraded upon check in which was great.

The room is located on a lower floor. The concierge department is polite. The front desk is not very welcoming and slightly cold. The corner room does not have any views but some bungalows and a building under construction. Overall recommendation 3 out of 5 If you are going to visit Xi'an, there are better options.

Room was lovely and the bathroom was quite spacious- lots of room for activities. Enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast at the Grand Café. Would definitely visit again.

Amazing experience in the suite. It was really nice and look exactly like the pictures. Having 2 separate rooms was great for family travel. The staff was very helpful too. Would definitely recommend for family travel. The bathroom and bathtub was amazing too

It's close to the building that we need to attend to, it has easy access and very convenient.

My wife and I decided to visit Xi'an for her birthday from November 30th to December 4th, 2023, and we chose to stay at the Grand Hyatt Xi'an during that time. In short, it is an exceptional hotel, offering super delicious breakfast with a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. For examples, the gentleman in the front door of the hotel always welcomed us with very beautiful smile, the lady who took care of our room every day, displaying meticulous attention to detail that never failed to surprise us. The employees at the Italian restaurant were exceptionally kind, going above and beyond to provide extraordinary care and respect. When they discovered it was my wife's birthday, they surprised us with a small cake, decorated our table with balloons, and even offered us complimentary cocktails. Furthermore, the staff in the Lounge went out of their way to help me arrange a surprise birthday cake for my wife. They decorated the table with great care and passion, and even presented her with a thoughtful gift and a postcard, sharing their kind wishes with us. I almost forgot to mention that they also surprised me by offering a birthday cake when I was in my room. So, we ended up with three birthday cakes in one night that gave us the opportunity to share our joy and share a slice of happiness with the incredible staff. These are just some examples of their great team of their staff. Without doubt, I would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to visit Xi'an.

The decoration of this Grand Hyatt is very impressive, reflecting local culture spirit. The staff is exceptionally supportive and friendly. The environment is very convenient, the subway station only needs 6 mins walking and quiet as well. I would definitely stay here again if I need visit Xi’an again.
