Hampton by Hilton Xi'an Bell Tower North Street

Mixed feelings from our stay. From one side good room and very friendly staff which ready to help. Full and tasty breakfast including western cuisine. Good location in old city 500 meters away from the metro station. My wife celebrated birthday and hotel provided some sweets as a compliment. Thank you for this! From other side initially provided room was smoked and my wife found some cigarette butts on the floor. This room was changed to another one. In general hotel is tired and needs renovation.

The hotel service was very good. Overall impressed.

The hotel is conveniently located just one subway stop from the central Bell Tower and less than a 5-minute walk from the nearest station. We appreciated the complimentary room upgrade upon arrival. However, the air conditioning in the upgraded room was uncomfortably warm—even warmer than the lobby. Fortunately, the staff were extremely responsive and changed our room the next morning, keeping the aircon on throughout the day to improve comfort. When we returned in the evening, it was still quite warm, so they promptly offered us a smaller room with better cooling—still the same room type we originally booked. I suspect the issue may be due to centralized climate control, so I wouldn't recommend staying here during summer. For other seasons, it would likely be much more comfortable. Aside from the air conditioning, everything exceeded our expectations. A pleasant surprise was discovering two excellent restaurants right on the hotel’s ground floor: one serving delicious local Xi’an cuisine, and the other a 24-hour porridge spot that we loved.

We stayed there in two rooms in June 2025, with two children. Good value for money if you don’t want to spend too much, good rooms, average breakfast.

Excellent service provided by the staff and conceige Mr Levy. Very prompt response towards any request, such as request for assistance to operate the television and request for toiletries. Plus point is where room is large and guest laundrette is complimentary and pleasant. Not forgetting that the breakfast spread is very good indeed. Overall, all staff are well mannered and helpful.

Hotel location is great, breakfast good and room was nice. Do note that during our stay the air conditioning was switched off. Seems like it’s a practice during this period of the year so do take note if booking this hotel. Thankfully the weather was cool for 2 out of the 3 days we stayed there.
