Extremely delighted with the 24-hour front desk concierge service from the moment I arrived at 4 AM until I left on the last day at 10 PM. There were some delivery hiccups that the front desk were very helpful in resolving for me. I like how thoughtful all the staff are from the front desk to the housekeeping and the food service during breakfast times. Not one but all of them were very attentive and detailed (小马,小杨，张瑞? and 王建荣are the names given but there were another 10 of them who were just as exceptional). I quite like the local breakfast variety that comes with fruit and salad selection. Each floor has a complimentary 500ml water bottles fridge (room temperature) that you needn’t have to buy from outside. Housekeeping even offered steam eyemasks for tired eyes! The fact that they also offer airport and train pickup/drop off services definitely are an added plus on top of the tour offerings. You just need to inform and pay the 30 yuan amount for foreign travelers per trip. They have a set time for pickups and drop offs at this rate. Outside of the set time, you can expect to pay more. The location is convenient despite not having a driveway but plenty of bicycles to rent and tourist attractions are at a walking distance. Definitely a 12/10 and will make a return when I visit 西安 next time.

We stayed at Eastern House in Xi’an for a couple of nights, and it was a memorable experience. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk from most tourist attractions inside the city, like the Bell and Drum Towers. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, making our stay enjoyable. The room was very spacious and comfortable, a pleasant surprise compared to other hotels. The breakfast spread was nice with a good variety, and we also tried a few dishes from their restaurant menu. The biang biang noodles were a standout—absolutely delicious—and the other items we ordered were great too. However, finding the hotel was a bit tricky. The name on Google Maps and other apps didn’t match, so I had to call the reception for directions each time. One disappointment was the “free” two-person guided tour to the Terracotta Army Museum included in the booking. When I checked, it turned out we had to pay for everyone, and since I wasn’t keen on a big group tour, I didn’t pursue it further. The language barrier was also a slight challenge at times. Still, I’d happily return for the location, spacious rooms, and excellent food.

Had a really great stay. Room is big with partition and two basins were available. Lots of eateries nearby and it’s also near the bell tower and wall. Easily accessible to other places too. Amenities were great and we can wash and dry our clothes for free in their laundry room too. But only one dryer is available.

This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance near the famous Defu Lane with many food stall, restaurant, coffee, tea, bistro and great bars. It is also near the Bell Tower and shopping complexes with many tourist and locals congregate. This hotel room is spacious, clean and confortable. The hotel staff is friendly and courteous and the always smiling housekeeping staff is helpful and accomodative. Will definate bring my family to stay here in our future holidays in Xian

A beautiful hotel, felt welcome as soon as we walked into the hotel. The staff were polite and helpful. We received a complementary gift bag containing snacks and biscuit shaped in the local main sights, along with a hand drawn map of Xi’an city. The room was nicely decorated, there was a complementary face and eye mask in the room which was a nice touch. The location was very central, with all main sights in the city no more than 10-15 minutes walk away. Having a self service laundry room with 2 washing machines and a tumble drier was a real bonus.

Good location. Friendly service desk staff who are patient to answer our questions. Rooms are clean and tidy. Only thing is there is no additional door to separate the basin area from the main room. Late checkout by 2pm. And there is a direct bus service to XIY airport at RMB30 per pax. After 10pm, direct taxi service to XIY costs RMB120 per trip. Plus, the power socket takes 2 pin flat, 2 pin round and 3 pin slanted. Plenty of sockets around the room.

Convenient location, 10 mins walk away from drum tower and muslim street. Afternoon tea is available on top of breakfast, and hotel in clean Eleven is patient when serving us check in and check out. All the other staffs were nice as well, I can deposit taobao parcel and request for tour services from the hotel.

First and foremost, we would like to thank the hotel staff for the pleasant stay. Ms Tao Zi, Ms. Jing Jing and their colleagues at the reception desk were friendly and helpful. Ms. Yi Gai Li and her colleagues at the breakfast and high tea restaurant were warm and friendly. Appreciate all your wonderful service and warm welcome. When I booked the hotel, I just wanted a clean, value for money with a good location hotel. We booked 2 rooms for 6 nights in Dec 2024 at CNY425 per room per night, inclusive of daily breakfast and high tea. Food: Simple breakfast and high tea, but good enough to warm our stomach to start our day. Coffee was better than expected (I thought it would be 3 in 1 type), the breakfast consist of fruits, salad, noodles, rice, porridge, bread, etc. Tea break has some simple snacks like portuguese egg tarts, mochi, mini cakes, cookies, fruits, chinese tea and coffee. Room: There were no connecting rooms, but we were allocated nearby rooms. We had clean white towel and sheets. The toilet and sink were clean, but if you're staying with friends it's a bit inconvenient due to lack of privacy. Although there are doors for the individual toilet and shower stalls, it would be better to have another door at the entrance to the changing area just before we enter the shower stall. This is a minor issue as we are more conservative. Tour bookings: The hotel has staff that assist with daily tour bookings, thus it was very convenient. We booked our day trip to the Terracotta Warrior and the coach came to pick us up at the hotel. I would suggest that you spend the extra CNY 298 per pax to watch the performance, it was worth it. Overall we had good night rest and enjoyed the stay. Thank you again to the hotel for exceeding our expectation.

Have stayed at Eastern House, 7 years ago. The service & quality still amazed me. Even with language barrier, staffs still are excellent & very professional. Would like to commend on all the crew team at cafe/restaurant who served us breakfast every morning. Everyone is very courteous, friendly & professional in attending to guests. The greeted with a genuine smile. Big shout to the Team Leader, Ms Yi Gai Li. She represents what a great hospitality means. She greets & always with a smile. The best, she made effort to remember what our likes. She knew from Day 1, I would prefer a little honey with my cereal, the next 4 days she would remember & place a small portion of honey. She is always attentive. Eastern House should be proud to have a model staff in their team. Thank you Eastern House for the consistent great service even after 7 years since I last stayed.
