Cici and all the staff are very nice and friendly. Great customer service. We stayed for 3 nights, the room was clean and wifi worked great. Hotel lobby is stunning. Location is awesome, walking distance to the heart of the city. I would stay here again.

We felt so welcomed right from check in to breakfast to checkout. Family room is big and clean. Breakfast selection was adequate, enough to fill us up. Special mention to Eric who i think is the front desk manager, advised on the time required to get around Xi'an. Also to restuarant resturant staff, 改利 who made sure we are well fed before we explore Xi'an. Great team at Dongshe! Thanks for the excellent hospitality and pleasant stay.

The interior of the room is consistent with the pictures on the website. The decoration style is also very appealing. The various facilities are beautifully arranged. The hygiene is very clean. I felt very at ease when checking in. The hotel is located in a busy area, in the city center. The surrounding transportation is convenient. The sound insulation is good. The air conditioning is cool. I slept very soundly throughout the night. I will choose this hotel for my next visit. l also had the service of the housekeeper, Linn, and it was impeccable! 清凉夏日下午茶，和丰盛的早餐

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Xi'an – Quiet, Comfortable & Exceptional Service. Eastern House is a hidden gem in the center of Xi'an, offering the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. Despite its central location, the hotel is surprisingly quiet, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The check-in process was seamless, and we were in our room in no time. The bed was exquisitely comfortable, making it easy to recharge after a day of exploring. Breakfast was delicious, with a focus on quality over quantity. For those needing halal options, the staff is happy to assist—just ask! What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to help. A special shoutout to CiCi, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The self-service laundry was also a great convenience for travelers. Overall, Eastern House provides outstanding comfort, thoughtful amenities, and warm hospitality. We highly recommend it and would gladly stay here again!

Room was spacious and neat. Very convenient to take DiDi. Nearby food are delicious. Free bottles of water are provided at the lobby. Breakfast and Afternoon Tea are great. Service staff were great. Ms Wang was helpful with the tour and location. She also help use to booked the admission to the Xi’an museum

Extremely delighted with the 24-hour front desk concierge service from the moment I arrived at 4 AM until I left on the last day at 10 PM. There were some delivery hiccups that the front desk were very helpful in resolving for me. I like how thoughtful all the staff are from the front desk to the housekeeping and the food service during breakfast times. Not one but all of them were very attentive and detailed (小马,小杨，张瑞? and 王建荣are the names given but there were another 10 of them who were just as exceptional). I quite like the local breakfast variety that comes with fruit and salad selection. Each floor has a complimentary 500ml water bottles fridge (room temperature) that you needn’t have to buy from outside. Housekeeping even offered steam eyemasks for tired eyes! The fact that they also offer airport and train pickup/drop off services definitely are an added plus on top of the tour offerings. You just need to inform and pay the 30 yuan amount for foreign travelers per trip. They have a set time for pickups and drop offs at this rate. Outside of the set time, you can expect to pay more. The location is convenient despite not having a driveway but plenty of bicycles to rent and tourist attractions are at a walking distance. Definitely a 12/10 and will make a return when I visit 西安 next time.

We stayed at Eastern House in Xi’an for a couple of nights, and it was a memorable experience. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk from most tourist attractions inside the city, like the Bell and Drum Towers. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, making our stay enjoyable. The room was very spacious and comfortable, a pleasant surprise compared to other hotels. The breakfast spread was nice with a good variety, and we also tried a few dishes from their restaurant menu. The biang biang noodles were a standout—absolutely delicious—and the other items we ordered were great too. However, finding the hotel was a bit tricky. The name on Google Maps and other apps didn’t match, so I had to call the reception for directions each time. One disappointment was the “free” two-person guided tour to the Terracotta Army Museum included in the booking. When I checked, it turned out we had to pay for everyone, and since I wasn’t keen on a big group tour, I didn’t pursue it further. The language barrier was also a slight challenge at times. Still, I’d happily return for the location, spacious rooms, and excellent food.

Bad experience during check in that took way too long and was very inexperienced with lots of mix ups. Also bad experience during check out.

Had a really great stay. Room is big with partition and two basins were available. Lots of eateries nearby and it’s also near the bell tower and wall. Easily accessible to other places too. Amenities were great and we can wash and dry our clothes for free in their laundry room too. But only one dryer is available.

Comfortable beds, fun robot butler,friendly staff and good value

This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance near the famous Defu Lane with many food stall, restaurant, coffee, tea, bistro and great bars. It is also near the Bell Tower and shopping complexes with many tourist and locals congregate. This hotel room is spacious, clean and confortable. The hotel staff is friendly and courteous and the always smiling housekeeping staff is helpful and accomodative. Will definate bring my family to stay here in our future holidays in Xian
