Xiamen Yingxiang Hotel (Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street Branch) recensioner

Our stay at Yingxian was fine. It was clean enough, we were provided with fresh towels after one day, without even asking. The rooms were sufficiently big and quiet when the windows were closed. The staff were friendly and even helped us carry our luggage to the rooms. Sadly there is no elevator. Sometimes, the staircase smelled a little bit of cigarette smoke, but it didn't leak into the rooms. Of course, the hotel's biggest strength ist the location, being literal 5 meters away from Zhongshan Road and about 5 walking minutes from Zhenhai Road Metro station. A great starting point for exploring the city, especially the very active and lovely neighbourhood of Siming.

Location is quite good as it is located right in the shopping district. If you're okay with minsu/1 day living this is ok but mattress is quite hard and uncomfortable.

Enjoyed my stay here. The room is super quiet which is something i appreciate a lot. Found a cockroach crawling in my three-day stay here though.

Best location on中山walking streets full of eateries. Projector screen movie good & clear , we watched 6 movies in all. Most recommended

The location of this hotel is right at Zhongshan Pedestrian street, behind Mixue, walking distance to many places. Boss of the hotel is very friendly. Only thing is, it's a walk up hotel, no lifts, be mindful if you are not able to climb stairs. There is one room on the ground floor, which is a family room, you can request to book that room if you cannot climb stairs

Nice hotel with good location. The room is comfortable and clean. The hotel is just behind ZhongShan Road Mixue.

I have enjoyed my stay in this hotel very much. Mr. Lim, the owner was very friendly and helpful. He could give accurate information about the places, tours, and discuss a variety topic. The place provides me with what I paid for. My expectations were fully met. It was you get what you paid for. If I ever go to Xiamen again, I shall stay in this hotel as a loyal and satisfied customer. Thank you.

Location is at an alley right behind the Zhong Shan Lu Pedestrian Street, so you don’t need to worry about having access to good food. The subway is also about less than 10mins walk from Zhen Hai Lu station. There’s two flights of stairs to get to the reception. We travelled light so the children and I had no trouble. Owner was very friendly and helpful. He was quick to respond to all our enquiries and needs during our stay. We got upgraded to the Space room and the children absolutely enjoyed the shows they could watch via the projector, they either didn’t want to get out or want to go back to the hotel earlier 😬 We also slept very well.

This is very cheap hotel in perfect location! The owner is very gentle. However if you have big luggace consider that taxi can't reach pedestrian street and you will have to walk a little

Amazing location! Very nice reception desk who gave us an upgrade, and the rooms are not cramped. Very worth the price!

This is a cheap and basic hotel. It’s not necessarily a bad place to stay, as it is right next to the main tourist street. Just be clear what you are getting. The room has the vibe of a prison cell, and the walls are thin enough that you can hear your neighbours pressing the light switch. No view of anything except a roof from the windows. This isn’t a room you will be hanging out in. The gentleman on the front counter was friendly and carried my bags up the stairs. However, I decided to leave a day early. The big annoyance for me: I left a bag of toiletries in my hotel room, and when I asked the hotel about this, they ghosted me. I appreciate they may have already thrown the objects away, but I would’ve appreciated an answer. Photograph of the conversation attached.
