JIAYU HOTEL

Very good value for money, many bus stops next to hotel, 24 hour macdonalds right next door. Very clean, good size rooms and everything thing you would expect for a hotel. I would recommend astay here. If you are a light sleeper and want to sleep in, ask for a room opposite the school as they do a assembly at 9am, but it is only 15mins long. Also breakfast is only Asian cuisine, but thats to be expected as it is China after all. Two thumbs up

Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. I would definitely stay here again.

1. The hotel is good, but not as impressive as it appears in the introductory video and photos. 2. Don’t be misled by the flashy pictures. 3. The room is clean, but quite small. 4. Considering the price, I believe you can find better hotels in the same range. 5. The breakfast did not meet my expectations—it mainly consists of Chinese food (which is fine), but there wasn’t even butter or jam available for the bread. 6. The lobby does offer complimentary coffee and tea. 7. Overall, I feel the hotel would be more reasonably priced if it were about 20% cheaper.

During my Xiamen weekend getaway, I stayed at Jiayu Hotel, and it was a super convenient choice near the airport. Right outside, there’s a McDonald’s, perfect for a quick bite if you arrive late or need a snack. The hotel provides breakfast, which was tasty and satisfying, a great way to start the day before exploring the city. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and modern, with an elevator for easy access. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the check-in and check-out process smooth. It’s an ideal stay for travelers who want a hassle-free, cozy base close to transport links while still being able to enjoy Xiamen’s attractions.

The hotel is pretty spacious for a solo traveller. Overall it was a good stay at Jiayu Hotel, the room is clean, the staff is helpful and the location is great as there are a few bus stop stations nearby.

The hotel is not bad. The bed and mattress is comfortable and the bathroom is nice too. However, when we arrive we stayed in a room that had a very bad damp smell and some mould marks on the ceiling. Fortunately they gave us another room which was a little better. The breakfast could also be improved with more options and variety. Overall, a little over priced, even for the holiday season.
