Atour Hotel Xiamen Zhongshan Road General Temple

This non-smoking hotel is very near to JiangJunCi train station exit 3. Rooms were clean and they have everything provided for! From Toiletries to washers and dryers for self service laundry to bottled water. They provide porridge with some simple condiments for stayers from 9.30pm to 11pm daily! Though I did not manage to get their family room (only three of such room type in this hotel) for my three children, the double super single bed was good for them as we joined the two beds together. The standing showers were fantastic for all there young and old. Would definitely recommend this hotel. 👍🏻

Breakfast offers different options, and the staff are very polite and friendly. The place is also very clean. The family room is quite spacious. The laundry room also provides detergent and fabric softener. 4 minutes to metro station, and there are also bus stops nearby.

Atour chain of hotels has always been our choice whenever we travel to China. True enough, this stay was as what we expected for good service by all staff, regardless of their scope of duties. Breakfast spread was good enough, laundry service was prompt. The housekeeping aunties were friendly and helpful. Really nothing to fault for this outlet.

This hotel is always clean, refurbished quite recently, beds are very comfy, bedlinen nice and crisp. Main thing is the staff, they are always extremely kind and helpful!

The hotel is in a prime spot, just a few minutes’ walk from Jiangjunci Metro Station, making it super convenient for getting around and sightseeing. The room is neat and tidy, with soft, skin-friendly bedding, so the basic stay experience is pretty satisfying. The biggest highlight is the zero-cold-water shower system—it’s such a game-changer. Hot water flows instantly as soon as you turn on the tap, with steady temperature that never fluctuates, making every shower a real delight. On the downside, we didn’t specify that we wanted to avoid rooms near the elevator when booking, and that’s exactly where we ended up. The sound insulation is only so-so; footfalls from passers-by are clearly audible, which can be bothersome for light sleepers. Also, the toilet isn’t a smart one, which is a bit of a letdown compared to what we expected. The staff are polite and welcoming, and amenities like the laundry room and gym are in good working order. We hope the hotel will improve its room assignment process by asking about guests’ preferences upfront, and also list facility details clearly on the booking page to elevate the overall stay experience.

Hotel staff are courteous and helpful. The water pressure in the shower is strong which is good for a relaxing shower. Not much to eat or see within walking distance. However DiDi rides are cheap and easy.
