In the year 2024 it is unacceptable for a modern hotel not to have accessible Wi-Fi in your room. The WiFi is available in the lobby and bits around the pool however if you want stable connection this is not the hotel for you. The hotel is extremely steep in places and will not suit everyone especially with mobility issues. There are a cart service but infrequent. I’m guessing they would provide one if asked. The staff are hit and miss with English. They will often get your order wrong and this is part of the authenticity at least we took it this way. Some present as being rude. This is all over the hotel and they really need to have a warm approach. The rooms are small. One couple with child you get one double wardrobe with one shelf. If you are used to this, it’s ok. If not it will annoy you. The mini bar never got restocked. The on site shop is an extortion racket. I’d advise you to bring your own inflatables. It is a niche market so you pay top prices. The pool sun-beds get taken quickly. If the pool is your thing you’ll have to get up early to reserve. Thought this also was a thing of the past. There are plenty of negatives but overall it’s a weird hotel to critique because it also has some huge positives. The food is superb. There is a large selection and it’s great quality. The pool side bar is served and I worked through the menu. All served lovely but sometimes got what you didn’t order. Part of the fun. You can’t fail to be impressed with the food. Ample drink selection, the bars are quiet and you get served quickly. The on tap lemon is lovely and refreshing. The ice creams are extremely nice the waffles I didn’t try but were devoured by the kids. There is a Starbucks and the drinks were very popular with all. The hotel is spotless and clean in all areas. The slides for the kids are brilliant. The beach is very nice with sun-beds galore. The seas are amazingly Clean and crystal clear. The hotel grounds are extremely impressive. Tidy and well kept. The rooms despite being small are very modern and clean. The maids are attentive and work hard. We used the Turkish bath whilst there. It was superb. Staff from Kenya were were attentive and professional. I felt amazing after. (You need to negotiate a price. Use the fella around the pool). The score I have given reflect the internet connection as it is the main gripe.. Overall the holiday was excellent despite the issues I’ve pointed out. It’s relaxing great food and lovely weather that is a very clean environment. The transfer is about an hour. We were lucky as we were the only ones both ways so it was value and we didn’t need a private transfer. Be mindful of this as Bodrum is a large area so you won’t be doing lots of drop offs there for don’t need a private transfer. It was just heating up.
